Gender Differences in Personality
This week, your discussion assignment is about male and female differences in personality. What male and female differences in personality have you observed and where do you think they come from (e.g., are they learned, inborn, etc.)? NOTE: If you believe more than one personality theory explains male/female differences, give concrete examples. Link the theory you choose solidly to the personality differences you describe to provide evidence of your thorough comprehension of your selected theory by your accurate application of it rather than just picking a theory by name and listing characteristics believed by the general public to differ between genders. You must describe how the theory you choose explains specific differences.
Also, required for each Discussion are three (3) replies to at least three different classmates. ( student discussions are attached, mention names with the replies).

Write a 5 paragraph essay answering the question “What would be the most effective and realistic changes you could make to improve your sleep?” 
Begin by doing some preliminary online research on effective ways of improving your sleep. You should come up with at least 4 ways you could improve (3 will be your sub-claims and 1 will be your counter-claim), and have 2 pieces of evidence that support each of the 3 sub-claims and 1 piece for your counter-claim (these should be fact based ie. patients who slept with toe warmers decreased the number of times they woke up at night by 3,000%). Next you should begin working on your introductory paragraph by giving backstory regarding your current sleeping habits as shown by your Sleep Log ( I atteched the file of my sleep log so you can see), defining sleep, and explaining the importance of getting good sleep. End your introductory paragraph by writing a thesis using the 4 ways you could improve that you already identified. Each of the 3 body paragraphs should begin with a topic sentence and include 2 pieces of evidence supporting that method of improvement, as well as an explanation of why each piece of evidence supports the use of that method of improvement. End your essay with a conclusion that summarizes your essay in approximately 3 sentences.

For each slide indicated, please include a 1-2-minute audio recording to address the items you have provided on each slide. Slide 1: Title Slide
Create a title for your presentation.
Slide 2: Identify a Social Problem
Identify a social problem related to inequality (race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, mental illness, income, etc.).
Include additional bullet points to elaborate on at least one objective condition and one subjective concern related to the social problem.
Audio: Provide a detailed explanation of the social problem you have chosen and explain why you have chosen this particular social problem.
Slides 3: Influences of a Social Problem
Identify three influences that contribute to the emergence of this social problem.
Cite a specific resource for each influence that supports this claim.
Audio: Describe how each influence directly relates to the social problem.
Slide 4: Key Legislation
Identify at least two legislations aimed at addressing this social problem.
Include additional bullet points to elaborate on the key concepts of the legislation.
Audio: Explain how each legislation can help reduce or eliminate the inequality within your identified social problem.
Slide 5: Sociological Theories
Explain each of the three theories as it relates to the social problem.
Audio: Discuss in detail how each theory (symbolic interactionalism, functionalism, and conflict theory) may perceive the social problem.
Slide 6: Human Services Intervention
Identify three actions a human service professional can take when faced with inequalities within a social problem.
Audio: Explain how you, as a human services professional, can implement these actions to advocate for those negatively impacted by the inequalities within your identified social problem.
Slide 7: References
Include at least five academic references in APA format. Two of these should be for the legislation and three should be for the influences.
