Each student will prepare a research paper to complete this assignment. No makeup will be available for this assignment. Students will select a topic of his/her/their interest area. They will prepare a research paper (APA style) on that topic to integrate specific theoretical approaches covered in this course and current empirical research findings in that area. Students are advised not to use the same topic that they have used in prior assignments. They need to review the literature and prepare a research paper for this assignment. Students are encouraged to consult with the instructor/TA to select topic, empirical research articles, and write this research paper with a literature review, critical evaluation, and application to the field of psychology today. The topics and write-up details will be provided in the class. Late assignments will not receive full credit (deduction of 2% of your grade per day and could be up to 10%.) to allow for evaluation/submission of grades within due date.
