Final Paper – (12-20 pages, doubled-spaced, 12-point Times Roman, with page numbers) Paper title: “My 2024Theory of Success and How I Will Achieve It.” Write a paper that presents your current theory about what the word “success” means for you and how you intend to go about fulfilling your success concept in your life. These ideas and plans should be expressed through mastery of the course readings (Springboard andConscious Business Ethics), at least one major additional ‘reading’ (see note below) that inspires you, additional relevant research that sustains and supports your success theories, and illustrations/stories/examples drawn from the life of a person you admire (an exemplar) from business, social life, your community or culture, the arts, religion, sports, or political history. Be sure to include a discussion of Conscious Business Ethics (aka The Game of Life) and how you plan to personally apply it in order to be successful. This should include an integration of the 6 virtues/character strengths, the 3 internal components of your personal system, and your plan for personal development along the 7 stages of psychology, philosophy, and systems thinking into your Theory of Success. Please be aware that the Final Paper is both a personal statement and a research paper that expresses your personal philosophy. The “additional reading” can be any form of personal or artistic expression– a poem, painting, short story, film, success book, religious writing, play, comic book, photograph – you name it. The more original and thoughtful the paper and examples, the better. The best papers may go beyond course concepts in defining what success means for the writer. Writers who simply survey the material studied in class will not do as well as those who find novel ways to expand, deepen, or invent news ways to think about and/or measure success and connect these ideas to both the lives of their role model and their own lives. Overall, in the best papers, the life of the role model, the extra reading, and the success theories combine to form a well-integrated whole that expresses an understanding about the complexity of life and what it takes to make one’s way in it. I will add additional information when you accept the job.

“Ethical Dilemmas in Healthcare: Exploring Personal Values and Choices” Ethical Dilemmas in Healthcare: Exploring Personal Values and Choices The statement, “What may be an ethical dilemma for one registered nurse may not be an ethical
The ethical dimensions of this week’s discussion involve the rights of a minor patient and the role and responsibilities healthcare team members have in providing care. Click the video below to watch this Practice and Principle episode. How might the statement, “What may be an ethical dilemma for one registered nurse may not be an ethical dilemma for another registered nurse.” apply to this episode? Define the term ethical dilemma in your response.
Apply the framework of The Five R’s approach (Recognize, Reflect, Resolve, Respond, Reflect on Outcomes) to ethical nursing practice from this week’s reading to answer the questions about values and choices. In your posts, feel free to agree, disagree, question, compare, and discuss each other’s responses in a way that fosters thoughtful and respectful dialog. What are values?
Q. What are your core values?
Q. Why do you value them?
Q. What are the values in your society?
Q. How do your core values impact your personal choices?
What are the limits to personal choice?
Q. Who or what limits your choices?
Q. Do you find limits to choices to be beneficial or harmful? Explain why.
Q. Should a health care organization or the government limit people’s choices? If so, how and under what circumstances? -
“Reflecting on Interprofessional Collaboration: Strategies for Success and Lessons Learned” “Enhancing Interprofessional Collaboration: Lessons Learned and Best Practices for Effective Teamwork” “Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Strategies for Effective Resource Management and Team Success”
reflection that addresses either an interprofessional collaboration you experienced or a collaboration case study scenario that you imagine you experienced.
Interprofessional collaboration is a critical aspect of a nurse’s work. Through interprofessional collaboration, practitioners and patients share information and consider each other’s perspectives to better understand and address the many factors that contribute to health and well-being (Sullivan et al., 2015). Essentially, by collaborating, health care practitioners and patients can have better health outcomes. Nurses, who are often at the frontlines of interacting with various groups and records, are full partners in this approach to health care.
Reflection is a key part of building interprofessional competence, as it allows you to look critically at experiences and actions through specific lenses. From the standpoint of interprofessional collaboration, reflection can help you consider potential reasons for and causes of people’s actions and behaviors (Saunders et al., 2016). It also can provide opportunities to examine the roles team members adopted in a given situation as well as how the team could have worked more effectively.
As you begin to prepare this assessment you are encouraged to complete the What is Reflective Practice? activity. The activity consists of five questions that will allow you the opportunity to practice self-reflection. The information gained from completing this formative will help with your success on the Collaboration and Leadership Reflection Video assessment. Completing formatives is also a way to demonstrate course engagement
Note: The Example Kaltura Reflection demonstrates how to cite sources appropriately in an oral presentation/video. Your assessment will reflect on either a professional collaboration you experienced or a collaboration case study scenario that you imagine you experienced

“Adapting Text for Different Genres: A Reflective Essay” The Role of AI in Successful Adaptations Title: The Impact of AI on Successful Adaptations: A Brief Overview
Reflective Essay
Submission length: 1000 Words
The purpose of this task is to develop skills in transforming, adapting and editing text-types for different genres or contexts of delivery–and to reflect on the editorial skills needed to make these transitions. Adaptation is a skill that all editors require, particularly in the digital age, and this assignment asks you to think carefully about how and why editors (and writers) need to modify texts for different audiences–and the sorts of decisions they make as they engage in the process of adaptation.
The source I find to apply on this editing project is :
Everything to Know About the 2024 Met Gala: Theme, Hosts, and More
link: https://www.vogue.com/article/everything-to-know-met-gala
Medium of delivery
For this assignment, you will need to produce a 1000-word reflective essay that includes:
a description of the short text you have chosen, its medium (where you found it: newspaper, book, internet, etc.), target audience, and purpose. In other words, who was the original text written for? Where was it published, and what effect was it meant to have on its readers? (approx. 100 words)
a description of how you developed this short text into a new genre/format. What editorial decisions did you make? Did you change the language, level of formality, tone, etc. Did you punctuate differently or use more images for effect? Did you play around with colour and font? Why? What do these changes say about the new genre? (approx. 300 words–or 1/3 of the assignment)
a reflection/conclusion on how the textual elements (language, style, formatting) of each genre differ and what must be considered in making successful adaptations. (approx. 300 words–or 1/3 of the assignment)
the newly adapted text. Please note the remaining 300 words of the task (the final 1/3 of the assignment) are allocated to this work, but you might not necessarily write 300 new words. We are allowing word count for the editing effort as well. If you do not use the full 300 words in this section and wish to apply additional words to other sections, that is fine–provided that the assignment does not exceed 1000 words–but not necessary.
Topic of Reflection
Unlike previous assignments, where you were considering how editors intervene in the text production process, for this assignment you must revise and edit as a form of adaptation. This assignment asks you to adapt a recent short piece of professional or public writing (tweet, social media post, meme, etc.) from one context to another. Your chosen text should have a recent publication date, i.e., no earlier than January 1 2024, and it should be a short piece of writing, to make the adaptation process easier. The focus here is not so much on the writing, since most of the writing has already been done, but on editing the existing text for a new genre.
For example, you might draw on a series of social media posts to craft a short speech or media release/public announcement on the same topic. Or, you could adapt a short section/paragraph of a professional article into a poster that features mainly images. Or you might adapt a paragraph of your favourite book into a format suitable for children. You might adapt a Facebook post into a tweet or an email into a text.
You should use the information from the original source for the content of your submission, but you can work creatively with additional visual, design, or other elements to achieve the adaptation. You may also need to reword the original text slightly (or change its tone) to ensure the content is appropriate for the new genre.
You should consider, too, whether/how AI technology can be used to help editors adapt texts across genres. Can a machine replace a human being? How might editors use AI for purposes of adapting text from one genre to another? What might they ask AI technology to produce on their behalf? You might include these considerations in the reflections section (on what must be considered in making successful adaptations) or in a brief concluding statement. There is no need for an elaborate discussion. One or two sentences will suffice to demonstrate your awareness of AI in the editing process. -
