  • “Effective Presentation Techniques: Mastering PowerPoint for Maximum Impact”

    Instructions
Each student will develop and submit a PowerPoint presentation over an assigned chapter/topic from the textbook. There must be a minimum of 12 slides and no more than 20 slides per presentation.
The PowerPoint presentation will be based on a topic that you have been assigned by the professor. The presentation needs to follow the outline of the chapter and should include a brief introduction that provides the audience with a frame of reference, the main body of the presentation, ending with a strong conclusion slide. The goal is to engage and get your message across effectively regarding the topic.
    Below are some general guidelines:
    • Keep your visuals clear and simple
    • Use simple graphics, charts and diagrams wherever possible.
    • Avoid using too many colors, patterns and graphics in one frame.
    • Use a minimum of words for text and title frames.
    • Upper and lower-case lettering is more legible than all capital letters.
    • Avoid using more than two font sizes per frame.
    • Try to maintain the same or similar font size from frame to frame.
    • Contrasting use of color is best.
    • Keep color schemes consistent throughout the presentation.
    • Include a title slide as well as a reference slide.
    • Include citations (including page numbers) throughout the presentation.
    • Graphics – Photographs, graphs and illustrations of artwork are excellent means of communicating complex ideas, providing that they are meaningful and relevant.
You can use either chapter 10 or 12 from the course’s book. I will attach a picture of my login information to access the book.

  • “The Power of Language: Analyzing the Impact of Hate Speech on Society”

For this research paper, you will choose a topic for which you will conduct research, analyze, and form an argument. Your job is to create a cohesive argument using the skills you’ve learned throughout the semester: summary, synthesis, analysis, and argument. In this essay, you’ll rely on outside sources, in addition to your own perspective, to analyze and summarize the main issues at stake. You may use personal opinions, experiences, and analysis to help situate yourself within the outside sources. You will demonstrate an awareness of the larger “conversation” by effectively incorporating sources from your research.
    Finding and Using Sources:
You need to locate at least four (4) credible sources relating to your topic. At least three (3) sources should be scholarly articles from peer-reviewed journals. In addition to scholarly sources, you can use other sources that you find credible and relevant to your subject. Remember that sources such as encyclopedias and online dictionaries (including Wikipedia) serve as good starting points, but are not considered credible outside sources for academic research.
    Requirements:
1250-1500 words in the edited paper
    A Works Cited page
A reflective cover letter detailing your rhetorical choices
MLA format (12 point font, Times New Roman, double-spaced) with a proper header

  • Title: Analysis of Joint Angles and FMS Scores: An Assessment of Functional Movement Patterns and Progression. Initial FMS-scores and rationale for all those you scored: My initial FMS-scores were as follows: 1)

Initial FMS-scores and rationale for all those you scored
Your initial joint angles and any thoughts regarding your own FMS
Second FMS-scores and rationale for all those you scored.
Differences between FMS 1 and FMS 2-what were they, what did you see or not see and what is your rationale for the improvement or lack of improvement seen.
Your joint angles-differences-where did you see any changes or not and why was there improvement or not
Third FMS-scores and rationale for all those you scored.
Differences between FMS 2 and FMS 3-what were they, what did you see or not see and what is your rationale for the improvement or lack of improvement seen.
Your joint angles-differences-where did you see any changes or not and why was there improvement or not
Compare and contrast FMS 1, FMS 2, FMS 3, where were the largest differences/changes/improvements – your rationale-your why
Same with your own joint angles, include any changes seen or FELT.
it needs to be quite detailed with good description.  Double spaced is better.

  • Title: “Periodized Strength and Conditioning Program for Collegiate Soccer Players: A 1-Year Plan Based on Scientific Principles”

Develop a 1-year periodized strength and conditioning program built upon information gained from the course. Make sure to include the concepts that support the periodization of training. You are required to use at least three peer-reviewed primary sources outside of the textbook to support your program. Your paper should follow all APA guidelines. Upload your final paper in PDF format.
    Requirements:
    Identify your specific target population
Briefly describe them based on their needs analysis
Discuss the required primary bioenergetic systems used for this sport. Provide examples of how and when they are used within the population.
Identify the seasons and be specific about their lengths and time frames within the calendar year.
Determine how much dedicated S&C time you will have with them in each season (be realistic, not ideal)
Create tables for each of the following: macrocycle, mesocycles, microcycles and training days, exercise selection, and sample workouts for each mesocycle to demonstrate how the program will progress (review sample paper for examples)
Each cycle should be complete with appropriate details regarding volume, load, rest, and exercises where appropriate
Describe how and why your workouts are ordered/organized
DO NOT rewrite the content of your tables in the text of the paper. All text should be used to explain, support, and justify the information in your tables.
Briefly identify population-specific needs that you will take into consideration when making decisions for this program (i.e., common injuries, muscular imbalances, sex differences, age differences, etc.)
Describe what a typical warm-up will be like
    A few notes:
Always consider the demands of their practices and games. Your program should complement them to create a well-rounded, healthy, and prepared athlete
Athletic schedules inherently change. For the purposes of this project, identify a hypothetical schedule and stick to it.
I only put 3 for the length  because the tables below in the documents section can be copied and pasted and dont need to be worked on. I am going to attach my tables that describe the different cycles of my annual training plan and also I am going to attach a sample project PDF which has the professors paper she wrote. Also I will attach what I have done so far if you could just pick up where I left off that would be great. (its called final project)
This is a source that i already used in my paper if you could use this source as well that would be great.
