Proposal for a WNBA team. 
The final project for this class is a multimedia presentation to the mayor and city council of a city that is trying to entice a professional team to move to their city (e.g., NFL, NBA, WNBA, NWSL, NHL, etc.). You are the vice president of finance for a consulting firm that has been hired by the mayor and city council to give them a detailed analysis of what it would take to entice a team to move to their city. You are a member of the five person team that will conduct the analysis and make a presentation to the mayor and city council. Your responsibility is to provide the financial analysis for the project which includes the construction of a sports venue to accommodate the team.
For this assignment you will develop the capital budget which will become a part of your final project. Review the information on capital budgeting in your textbook. The numbers used in this assignment are to be a realistic estimate based on your research of similar projects. The capital budget should be done on a spreadsheet such as Excel. Provide at least one graph to help the mayor and city council better understand the elements of the capital budget.

Create a tri-fold informational brochure about an injury of your choice. This brochure should be informational and geared towards understanding a common injury in a sport, and the immediate treatment of the injury. 
Identify the anatomy and resulting damage, mechanism of injury, initial first aid response to the injury, and treatment of this injury. You should also include what are the recommended return-to-play criteria. You may also include: key information, education about your injury, as well as resources for more information. 
This brochure should be able to be used to educate coaches on the action plan and parents about their child’s injury. Graphics should be used. (Please create this brochure in a Word, PDF, or PowerPoint format. Other formats will not be graded. You can use the internet to find examples and/or templates. Do NOT simply put words and pictures on a piece of paper. Also, think about how the brochure will be folded to ensure the title panel is on the front and the references are on the center back.)

Provide at least one graph on both the budget and the forecast to help the mayor and city council better understand the information that you are providing.

The Competitive Condition Anxiety Inventory-2 examined Ahmed’s mental health and fitness to return to competitive running after injury. This popular tool examines cognitive, physical, and self-confidence, which are vital to sports success. The inventory was meticulously presented before a competitive event and during a regular training session, illustrating low- and high-pressure conditions.
Low-pressure results:
Ahmed scored 18/36 during regular training, indicating mild cognitive strain. It appears that his performance concerns are not affecting his practice. He scored 14 out of 36 for somatic anxiety (muscle tension, high heart rate). Practice anxiety has few physical manifestations. His 30 out of 36 self-confidence during these sessions was notable (Herbert et al., 2020). In familiar, controlled environments, Ahmed appears secure and capable.
High-pressure results:
Everything changed when Ahmed was evaluated before a regional tournament. His cognitive anxiety was 29 out of 36, indicating performance and injury worries. An athlete with strong cognitive anxiety may dwell on negative outcomes or past traumas like his injury. Somatic anxiety rose to 26/36. Ahmed suffered stomach aches, jitters, and clammy hands, typical of pressure competition. His self-confidence dip to 15 out of 36 was most concerning. This abrupt dip indicates how much competition impacts his mental health and self-confidence.

Test Battery:
Testing is crucial for determining an individual’s strengths and weaknesses. However, to maintain validity, testing should be specific to the needs of the sport. A training program is effectively evaluated by improved test performance of a subject. Ideally, improved test performance is representative of improved sports performance. 
Exercise testing will need to be specific to the needs of the sport to maintain validity. It is important to remember the subject will not be able to attain and maintain sport-specific training adaptations across the annual plan. Therefore, the test battery will need to change as the needs of the subject change across the annual plan. 
For this assignment, you will: 
Identify the types of tests and the number of tests you plan to include in a test battery to evaluate the
ability of a subject participating in a specific sport. 
Create a test battery for each period of the annual plan. 
Provide a rationale for the inclusion of test types, number of tests, and order of tests to be included
in the test battery.
For the Final Plan use all this info and create an exercise plan for one of the microcycles.
