Assessment Description
Philosophers, psychologists, and educators throughout history have recognized the importance of providing young children with early educational experiences to support development and create a foundation for lifelong learning. It is important for early childhood special education (ECSE) professionals to understand how far we have come in educating young children with and without exceptionalities and to continue to advocate for quality education and care for all young children.   
Research online tools for creating infographics and select one to create an infographic that presents a timeline of at least five major historical events, movements, or laws that have influenced early childhood special education. Focus on events from 2004 to the present. Include the following in 100-150 words per event:
Brief description of each event
Analysis of the importance of each event and the effect of the event on early childhood special education
Visual representation
Following your historical timeline, conduct research to select five potential issues that affect the field of early childhood special education. In 100-250 words, explain each issue and how you believe it should be addressed based on research.
Support your infographic and summary with a minimum of 3 scholarly resources.
While APA Style format is not required for the body of this assignment, solid academic writing is expected, and documentation of sources should be presented using APA formatting guidelines, which can be found in the APA Style Guide, located in the Student Success Center.

Instructions
The purpose of this assignment is for you to develop a personal philosophy statement about the meaning of collaboration in special education. This statement should be a collection of your beliefs around the meanings, purposes, and processes related to collaboration within special education. Potential topics you could consider addressing include:
Why is collaboration in special education important?
Who are the key players involved in collaboration in special education?
What factors must be in place to ensure successful collaboration in special education?
What are potential barriers to successful collaboration in special education?
What are the different ways to collaborate in special education?
What are the important time points in a student’s education in which collaboration should occur?
In what ways do culture and power affect collaboration in special education?

1) List 5 types of teacher behaviors that are likely to be positively reinforcing for most young children.
2) List 3 possible negative effects of frequent punishment on young children? 
3) There are 2 parts to this question: a) How much help and what kind of help should be given to a child who is trying to learn a self-care skills?  b) What are the 5 key steps in teaching a self-care skill?

In order for behavior interventions to be considered truly successful, students must be able to generalize or apply newly learned behaviors in different environments. Choose a replacement behavior that could be taught to a student as part of a behavior intervention plan and describe the type of generalization that could be used to help the student apply that behavior to a different environment. After you choose the type of generalization, you will select at least one tactic for promoting generalization that could be used to support the student’s generalization of the desired behavior.

It’s a Primary and Secondary research paper using a more focused and detailed topic from my primary research project. 

Step 1: Choose and Describe Your Artifact
What to do: Pick an artifact that is significant to you culturally, personally, or historically. Write a short paragraph describing what the artifact is, its origin, and its appearance.

What to do:
Research: Find out about your artifact’s background, its cultural and historical importance. Look for interesting stories or traditions linked to it.
Reflect: Write about why this artifact matters to you. Share any personal stories, emotions, or memories you associate with it.
Purpose: This step enriches your speech with a deep understanding of the artifact and connects it with your personal experiences.
Step 3: Create a Speech Outline
What to do: Draft a simple outline for your speech that includes:
An introduction to your artifact.
Its cultural and historical significance.
Its personal importance to you.
A conclusion that highlights its overall impact.
Purpose: Organizing your speech this way ensures you cover all important aspects smoothly and coherently.

Format: Compile your description, research, reflection, and outline into one document. 
MLA or APA is okay. Your submission should be 2–3 pages long double spacd. 

this course is an 8 day accelarated program. I will have some assignments posted daily. Would like to have someone who will be their with me working on the assignments given throughout the 8 days. The will be 6/18-6/26. if assignments at the end exceeded the 12 pages, I will pay more. I will compensate for any extra work.
