Wells Fargo committed fraud by opening up accounts and credit cards without customer consent.

Please see the following video and share one instance in detail due to which you believe that social media is not actually bad. It could be your own personal experience with social media or something general in nature.

Choose a case to analyze. Go to https://www.recoverystories.info/category/stories/Links to an external site. and choose one of the featured people and read their story that covers their story of addiction from initiation to recovery and everything in between. Most of the stories include how the individual got involved in drugs/alcohol in the first place and his or her pathway of addiction. Choose one that interests you.
Choose two theories: one psychological theory and one sociological theory. Choose one psychological theory and one sociological theory discussed in the readings and/or lecture that would be useful to explaining the person’s story and experiences.
Describe each theory in a complete yet concise manner. You must demonstrate that you understand the theory and could explain it to someone who is not familiar with the theory. 
Describe the case that you chose in terms of the significant elements relevant to your analysis such as (a) what factor(s) led to drug use, (b) what factor(s) drove or influenced the person’s substance abuse disorder, (c) what factor(s) helped them to recover from their substance abuse disorder, or(d) other relevant experiences.
Apply the theory to explain your case: connect the relevant elements of the case to the theories described. In other words, use each theory to explain the case, pulling relevant information from the case study as examples to connect to the theories concepts and arguments.

The Research Essay will be 3-5 typed pages, not including a title page and a page for references.  Students must format and reference their work using APA style and reference a minimum of four academic sources.  The essay should contain an introductory paragraph that introduces the topic, identifies the focus or purpose, outlines the main topics, and contains a thesis statement. Body paragraphs should possess topic sentences, supporting details, and a concluding sentence. The concluding paragraph should re-state the thesis and summarize the main argument. While there will be no rubric for this assignment, here are some basic guidelines explaining the grading requirements.
I am leaving the topic of your research essay completely up to you. But in some of our classes we will go over various possible topics you could use.
In order to receive an average grade on this assignment, students will be required to submit a paper that has all of the basic necessities. The content and length of the paper must meet the criteria outlined above including the four academic sources that must be properly referenced.  The proper essay format should be followed. Introductory, body, and concluding paragraphs should be easily recognizable.
