Situation: A local reporter just published a story concerning the wedding venue at the Thunder Farm and Brewery:  A Wedding Destroyed! The wedding of Jane and John Smith was celebrated in a hospital room, instead of at a wedding venue. Causing lifelong emotional turmoil for the couple on what should have been the happiest day of their lives. While the happy couple are happy that the groom’s mother only suffered minor injuries, they lost thousands of dollars and the ability to celebrate their love with friends and family due to negligence and greed. The crisis could have been avoided with a minor renovation to the venue and the removal of the haystacks. While the DJ played the song that was meant to be their first dance, they watched in horror as the groom’s mother, who is visually impaired, stumbled and fell. We ask, why in this day in age, are businesses unwilling to provide equal access for all.
As the IO you have been asked to prepare for conflict mediation between the CEO, the CEO’s son, and the manager of the wedding venue, who the CEO has blamed and reprimanded for the incident. You know that the manger had previously recommended updates to The Yard that would have included using the haystacks as a backdrop but removing them for the perimeter of the outdoor venue, however the CEO’s son (the photographer) liked the look, and the renovation was deemed unnecessary. Several employees have complained about the CEO son’s overstepping his role and impacting their ability to do their jobs effectively. This situation has highlighted that situation and many of the managers are watching to see how the situation is handled. Cancellations have also impacted the other businesses within the organization. The manager of the wedding venue is a respected member of the community and could turn it around. Losing her is not an option. 
Part I: Conflict Mediation Presentation
When preparing for the Conflict Meditation, address the following:
Give a brief summary of the case study and outline recommend steps for conflict management based on the situation using a visual representation.
Explain how or whether the mediator’s personal behavior style helps or hinders the formal mediation process and the recommended steps for resolution.
You will need to review the ADA-2-Title III – A Self Advocacy Guide to address positions the CEO have based on their discussion with the HR and their lawyers as they seek to find loopholes that protect the company from lawsuits.
As an IO you will not be part of the legal team, but you will be asked to be well-versed in a wide variety of topics to address how the company can find meaningful solutions and move forward with all parties on the same page and unified. Anticipate how other business have handled the situation, what is best of the organization, how to address the emotions of all parties involved, since family members are involved. You will also need to review the website and determine if additional steps need to be taken to ensure the safety of the guest. Use three to five scholarly resources to support your findings.

This powerpoint presentation basically has no limitations like money or time , etc , my
professor pretty much wants us to open up our imagination and just see how we would do this study, the last slide just needs to have references . ( One more thing it cant be the same study I already did , which was observe children in a daycare and see how they play. )

Jury acquits Extinction Rebellion protesters despite ‘no defence in law’
Six Extinction Rebellion protesters have been cleared of causing criminal damage to Shell’s London headquarters despite the judge directing jurors that they had no defence in law.
Two of the group’s co-founders, Simon Bramwell, 49, and Ian Bray, 53, were acquitted on Friday alongside Jane Augsburger, 55, Senan Clifford, 60, David Lambert, 62, and James “Sid” Saunders, 41, after a trial at Southwark crown court.
The six, who represented themselves, were also cleared of individual counts of having an article with intent to destroy or damage property, while a seventh protester, Katerina Hasapopoulos, 43, earlier pleaded guilty to criminal damage.
Prosecutor Diana Wilson told jurors that each of the defendants deliberately sprayed graffiti or smashed windows of the Shell building in Belvedere Road, central London, on 15 April 2019.
The protest, which saw activists pour fake oil, glue themselves to windows and doors, break glass, climb on to a roof and spray graffiti, was part of wider Extinction Rebellion demonstrations across the capital.
Wilson said that while some protesters stood outside the building holding banners or speaking through megaphones, “these defendants went further”, adding: “The seven involved caused significant damage.”
All those who stood trial explained they had targeted the Shell building because the oil giant was directly contributing to the climate crisis, thereby causing serious injury and death, and argued that it was a “necessary” and “proportionate” response to the harm being caused.
Clifford quoted Sir David Attenborough and former archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams in his evidence.
He said: “I believe if I don’t do whatever I can to protect our Earth, to protect life on this Earth, to stop the death and injury that is and will be happening, I’m committing a crime, a really serious crime, and I’m willing to break a window, to paint a message on a wall, I’m willing to break the glass on that emergency button, even if some say that’s a crime.
“Because this is a much bigger crime and I’m trying to stop that crime, I’m trying to protect life in the only way I feel I can.”
Judge Gregory Perrins directed jurors that even if they thought the protesters were “morally justified”, it did not provide them with a lawful excuse to commit criminal damage.

But the jury of seven women and five men took seven hours and four minutes to acquit them of both charges. Some of the defendants waved at jurors, several of whom were visibly emotional, as they left court.
