  • Title: “Reimagining Black Political Thought: Kelley’s Approach to Black Liberation and Reparations”

Most of the authors you have read this semester construct and reconstruct Black political thought from the “bottom up” and within public spaces which are considered uniquely African American (Black) within the environments in which they exist.  These works see Black political thought as primarily developmental, place a very high value on Black oral traditions, tend to concentrate upon Black youth and place a high value on the inclusion of a diversity of Black values, traditions and opinions and voices.
want you to pick any two of the following dreams/concepts (Black liberation and Black reparations) and explain how Kelley constructs and imagines the radical experience of Black people in those areas.
Given the traditions and readings that you have experienced this semester which Black political thought tradition is most promising for the next step of development in Black political thought? Explain why. (you can use any of the required readings to answer this question)
