This assignment builds on your research proposal and
your annotated bibliography. Your final paper must include:

Introduction: One to two paragraphs briefly explaining the
significance of the question you chose to answer and answers the question in
the form of a thesis (your central argument).

Body of the paper: The arguments that support your thesis. You may
also wish to provide counter arguments that you will refute.
o   
Conclusion: You will summarize your paper and restate your
thesis (no new material at this point).

Bibliography: Please use the sources and information from the
attached documents.  five sources in
the proposal paper and (five added two more) seven sources in annotated bibliography.

Polling Analysis Memo Prompt (5.18.24)
This assignment has two parts:
First, analyze a poll you select from Realclearpolitics.com . Discuss such things as Name ID and its various components (Hard, Soft, Total, Fav Ratio, etc,), the Head to Head Ballot Test, the 7 point scale, the crosstabs, methodology, margin of error and anything else you find relevant….or not.
Second, write a memo to one of the candidates advising them of your findings, the implications thereof and what actions to take based on your findings. Since it’s good to learn to think like your opponent, consider writing for the opposite party from your own.
Try to keep the answers to about 2-3 pages each, i.e., 5-6 total. Usual specs: 12 point font, double space, 1” margins, number your pages; you can use a reference page or foot notes or both.

Read Hannah Arendt’s The Origins of Totalitarianism (book review due Monday, May 22) 
• Take notes as you read both books and then write book reviews (6-8 pages; 12 pt font; double-spaced)

There are two parts to this final. 
Part 1 Long essay, 3-4 pages, question: What is economic inequality? How do severe inequalities and disparities in wealth and income harm individuals, countries, and the global economy? What solutions are viable? 
Part 2  Short Answers.
There is a rubric attatched for all the requirements needed, please do not hesitate to ask me any questions. 

Most of the authors you have read this semester construct and reconstruct Black political thought from the “bottom up” and within public spaces which are considered uniquely African American (Black) within the environments in which they exist.  These works see Black political thought as primarily developmental, place a very high value on Black oral traditions, tend to concentrate upon Black youth and place a high value on the inclusion of a diversity of Black values, traditions and opinions and voices.
want you to pick any two of the following dreams/concepts (Black liberation and Black reparations) and explain how Kelley constructs and imagines the radical experience of Black people in those areas.
