  • Reflection Angle Calculation

    Work on the two questions  I will provide an example of what my professor wants it done
    1. A
    monochromatic light source used in a diffraction experiment has a wavelength of
    4.60 * 10^-7 m. What is the energy of a photon of this light?
    2. How much greater is the energy of a photon of
    ultraviolet radiation ( λ= 3.00 X 10^-7 m) than the energy of an average photon
    of sunlight (λ = 5.60 X 10^-7 m)?
    Example
    1. An
    incident light ray strikes a mirror with an angle of 30° to the surface of the
    mirror. What is the angle of the reflected ray?
    Step 1: List of the variables.
    Incident angle (θi) = 30°
    Reflected angle (θr) =?
    Step 2: Relevant equation.
    θi = θr
    Step 3: Solving the equation for the unknown variable (Reflected angle, θr)
    Since θi = θr, no additional solving is
    needed.
    Step 4: No need for unit conversion as angles are dimensionless.
    Step 5: Substituting the known values into the equation:
    θr = θi
    θr = 30°
    Step 6: Performing the mathematical operation:
    No mathematical operations are needed in this
    case.
    Step 7: The answer is reasonable since the angle of reflection is equal to the
    angle of incidence, which is a characteristic of the law of reflection.
    Step 8:
    put your answer in a box

    There are 2 assignments that will need to be completed by observations and questions
    Determine the relationship between the positions of the Earth, Moon, and Sun over several observations.
    To create a scale model of our solar system. There are some items needed for this project: listed on the sheet. There is a link to assist with the simulations

  • Title: Understanding Newton’s Laws of Motion through Visuals and Problem-Solving Introduction: Sir Isaac Newton’s three laws of motion are fundamental principles in the field of physics, explaining the behavior of objects in motion. These laws have been extensively studied

    Your task is to write a mini-research paper about TWO of Newton’s three laws.
    1. First, you will need to state each law as it is written in your textbook or other source and explain what the law means in your own words. You will include an APA reference page with your references listed.
    2. Find or draw at least two pictures that illustrate each law. Pictures can be from magazines, real photographs, and newspapers or hand drawn. The pictures from the internet must be photographs not diagrams or illustrations and cannot already be labeled with forces. The pictures must be in color. Your name and student number must be included below each image.
    3. Write a paragraph describing how each of the pictures you choose illustrates the law (if you have 4 pictures you will have 4 paragraphs). The paragraphs must be at least 5 CONTENT related sentences. Please make sure your references are school appropriate.
    4. Provide TWO math based “you solve it” questions with answers for EACH of the laws you selected. Please be sure to explain in detail how to solve the problems (on each option).

  • Title: Chapter 15 Problems

    Instructions: Complete the following problems from Chapter 15: 2, 10, 12, 27, 30
    SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS
    You must submit a complete solution of each problem, including all necessary calculations. Submit legible, handwritten work (scanned or as a picture) with your final answer highlighted or underlined, in the order the problems are assigned, in a single/consolidated file (PDF or MS Word.)
