Discuss the following situation:
Suppose you are a member of a group responsible for finding ways to cut costs throughout your organization for the upcoming year. Sales have fallen sharply and the company is in danger of going out of business. After gathering information, your group concludes that the company will save the most money by freezing pay for a year, despite a tradition of annual salary increases. How can you make sure this is a fair decision? How can you make sure that others in the organization will see it as a fair decision? In answering this question please take into consideration the information you have learned throughout the semester with regard to problem-solving and using critical thinking skills.

Design a simple, naturally day-lit structure or pavilion that resists solar heat gain & glare and which also incorporates some form of building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV).
Sketch a simple floor plan with nearby site context, roof plan and a building section to illustrate the active solar design methods being employed. As applicable, identify any nearby vegetation (trees?), and pay attention to aesthetics (this is a design exercise, not merely an engineering activity). Consider using color and line-weight differentiation as a way to clearly communicate your design intent and to distinguish between physical elements and graphic notation (such as a north arrow). Unit 6 Mastery Assignment, Parts 1 & 2: Report and Presentation for the C-Suite
You have been hired as a data analysis consultant by a manufacturing company named Initech. Initech has hired you to do a full analysis on their sales data. Initech’s finances are a mess, and they need you to analyze the data and provide them a full overview of said sales data. This will include, but is not limited to: sales reports, customer reports, revenue reports, expense reports and geographical sales mapping. You will need to create visuals for each of those areas (and more if you would like) and then prepare a presentation slide show, where you will present your findings of this data using the visualizations and reports you have created. Using screen recording software of your choice, you will record your narrated presentation of your slide show. Your audience for this presentation will be high level executives, so build your presentation with you audience in mind. Here are the requirements and deliverables:

Submit this portion of the assignment using the “Mastery Assignment, Part 2” submission link in Unit 6.
• APA is not required for this assignment.
Deliverables:
You have two separate deliverables: (Part 1) the Word document containing your visuals and report, and (Part 2) a link to your recorded presentation along with your presentation slides. (Your slides must include the visuals as well.) Use the designated submission links in Unit 6. Requirements:
• Prepare a narrated video presentation that meets the assignment objectives and the expectations set forth in the grading rubric and in the General Requirements for Narrated Video Presentations document (see Unit 6 in Blackboard).
• Any screen recording tool may be used to record yourself narrating/presenting your slide show as long as you can provide a shareable link to the recording. (i.e., a link that allows anyone clicking it to view the recording).
• You are encouraged to use the Microsoft Teams app that is readily available in your SCKANS Microsoft Office365 account. • The recording must be stored on the cloud (e.g., Stream, OneDrive**, YouTube, Google Drive, etc.)
• The presentation should include a title slide, the content slides, and a reference slide.
• APA format is NOT required for this assignment.
• The recommended length of the narrated video is 8-10 minutes.
