    You have identified a quality care or patient safety issue which negatively impacts patient outcomes and have determined evidence-based practice strategies which could solve the issue. Equipped with that knowledge, you will now write a paper guiding implementation of activities to accomplish that goal. You will use the paper template and the information you gathered in the first milestone.
    You will collaborate with key stakeholders (unit manager/other departments in the practice area as well as at least one interprofessional stakeholder) for the purpose of gaining a global perspective. You will use this data to support implementation of your plan within the clinical practice setting.
    Step 1: Compose
    Compose an 8 to 10-page, APA-formatted paper consisting of the following components:

    Define the scope of the evidence-based practice (EBP), including the PICOT.

    Purpose: This project provides students with the
    opportunity to conduct an analysis of a clinical practice issue that has been
    observed in clinical preceptorship rotation and present recommendations for
    change related to the practice issue.
    Guidelines for the Assignment:
    1.       Identify
    a clinical issue that has been observed during your preceptorship rotation that
    you would like to see changed. The practice issue may be one that you have
    wondered about how the process came to be a part of nursing practice, whether
    there is a better way of conducting something, a controversial policy/procedure
    and or legislation, or something you have read about in the professional
    journals.
    2.       Provide
    a clear description of the topic or issue and the history surrounding the topic
    you have chosen.
    3.       Conduct
    a literature review concerning this topic. Clearly identify both sides of the
    issue/topic. Describe the evidence that supports the current practice or
    policy, as well as the practice change you may like to see, provide your

    I would like this assignment to highlight that the maximum amount of patients nurses should get during a shift should be a law as in other states like California. This is writing as a nursing student in NY.
