As a clinical nursing instructor working in a global health setting, you are creating a case study for your nursing students to help them better understand access to global healthcare.

In this module, you analyzed several types of cases that you may encounter as a LNC. Choose one type of case, identify what type of case it is, explain why you think someone would file a lawsuit, and explain how the role of the LNC influenced the case.

The purpose of this assignment is to explore ways a culture of patient safety is created using information and communication technologies and informatic processes that deliver safe nursing care while promoting health.

Problem Statement –  Inadequate sepsis risk screening causes delays in early identification and timely treatment of sepsis, resulting in increased patient mortality and morbidity as well as higher healthcare costs.
