nursing practice and explain why clinical decision making should be based on

described as a synthesis of the key insights, outcomes, or implications drawn
from the research, aiming to provide a clear and final response to the posed
research question).

Background: Diabetes patient reports increased pain, warmth, and swelling in lower left leg.
Assessment: Wound to the lower left leg, increased temperature (100.8°F), heart rate (92 bpm), respiration rate (20 breaths/min), blood pressure (140/90 mmHg), discomfort, and skin dimpling.
Recommendation: Begin ciprofloxacin antibiotic, collect wound culture, monitor vital signs, consult an infectious disease expert if no improvement, elevate leg, encourage ambulation, and offer pain treatment.
