Upon completion of your 245-hour clinical externship, you must write a 3-5 page paper
about your experience. Keeping in mind HIPAA regulations, explain aspects of your daily
work, highlight any new experiences with procedures, your role with patient contact, type of providers you may have assisted. Everyone’s experience is different and unique to their site
and department. 
Instructions; This should be a comprehensive report including the clinical site and 
department you have participated in, the dates of your participation, skills practices, new
skills learned and an honest evaluation of your performance on the job. The following topics should be included:
Degree of responsibility
Types and levels of responsibility held/how acquired
Your reactions to specific responsibilities
Professional methods used
Discuss the professional techniques you practiced
New concepts
New skills acquired; not taught in the program
Human relations with supervisor, co-workers, providers and patients
