PROJECT SCOPE:
This project will examine your ability to understand the implications of our take-make-waste
society’s habits and how we can move forward to an improved circular economy approach.
Using our class discussions and projects as frameworks, you will be journaling what you have
learned, what you can change about your own practices, what brands could do differently, and
any other insights via text entries, images, and video entries. You will be graded on the quality
of your insights, how visually appealing/creative your journal site is, further research and
sources that you find on the course topics, and how they relate to fashion and / or beauty
brands. Each entry is worth up to 25 points (see grading rubric on next page).

“Introducing ScreenPal: ID Validation and IMC Presentation”
Presentation: ID Validation and IMC
ScreenPal is a software application that allows for capturing and recording your desktop. It also allows you to record yourself from your front-facing camera. This means you can introduce yourself to your audience by beginning your presentation with a front-faced-camera, and then switch to your desktop where you can walk your audience through a presentation saved on your computer.
This is a two-part assignment. In Part 1, you will validate your identification (ID) by using your camera and ScreenPal. In Part 2 you will create a PowerPoint or Presi, on integrated marketing communications (IMC), and record yourself, as you present it, using Screenpal and capturing your desktop.
Part 1
Begin this activity by reviewing this video which will provide you with the knowledge and skills to successfully record yourself using your mobile camera.
Then, you can review the ScreenPal tutorial in the Technology module in LRC in which you will see how to record your presentation and share content using this recording app.
You may also watch this video for more information on how to use this app. This video will provide you with the knowledge and skills to successfully capture your desktop and record your presentation.
After watching the video, visit the ScreenPal home page to access the software.
You will begin your presentation by validating your ID by recording yourself and showing your government-issued photo ID in front of the camera. Be sure the image is clear and readable. Your ID validation portion of the presentation should be about 30 seconds to one minute. To validate your ID:
Introduce yourself
State your full name
Include the country/region where you live
Briefly state your interest in the MBA program
Hold your ID in front of the camera for five to 10 seconds
Part 2: Creating your presentation
Integrated marketing communications (IMC) is an important concept for a marketing manager to understand. Using Screenpal and a presentation software of your choice (PowerPoint, Prezi, etc) record a screen capture.
Begin by creating your PowerPoint/Prezi and include:
