Bisa diketahui negara
ginseng atau korea selatan ini sedang banyak dan hangat diperbincangkan. Menurut
(Shim:2006) korean wave atau bisa diartikan dalam bahasa indonesianya ialah
gelombang korea merupakan istilah yang dikenal publik karena penyebaran budaya
pop korea di seluruh dunia termasuk di Indonesia. Korean wave ini mula-mula
masuk ke Indonesia ialah adanya penayangan serial drama atau biasa disebut
K-Drama di akhir tahun 2000-an, penayangan serial drama tersebut memberikan
respon positif bagi masyarakat di Indonesia. Dikarenakan munculnya respon yang
positif bagi masyarakat Indonesia, lalu munculah industri musik korea seperti
K-Pop (Korean-Pop), indsutri makanan dan minuman hingga budaya dan bahasanya
mulai masuk ke Indonesia. Hal tersebut menjadi mengesampingkan budaya lokal yang
ada di Indonesia.bahkan sekarang ada saja makanan lokal yang memberikan toping
makanan berbau korea selatan contohnya seperti seblak toping toppoki,odeng, dan
sebagainya.
Memang untuk belajar budaya
negara luar baik untuk menambah wawasan diri sendiri, tetapi harus ada tingkat
kebatasannya tertutama bagi para remaja zaman sekarang. Maraknya korean wave di
Indonesia bagi para remaja -
