Title: “Celebrating Success: Recognizing Genuine Leadership in Acknowledging Employee Performance” 1. Recall a Contribution: I remember a time when I observed a team of employees working on a project for a non-profit organization. One individual
In this discussion, you will analyze and describe the actions of a leader, or leaders, you have encountered who demonstrated behaviors that have recognized the performance of others in a genuine manner.
You must use the template provided at the end of these instructions to format for your post.
Overview
Recognizing individuals is crucial for motivating employee performance. Leaders who celebrate successes enhance productivity, as motivating feedback stimulates, rekindles, and focuses people’s energies and drive. Exemplary leaders recognize and reward what individuals contribute to the vision and values. They express their appreciation beyond the limits of the organization’s formal systems, enjoying being spontaneous and creative in saying thank you. An exemplary leader becomes personally involved and shows genuine care for employees, reinforcing a sense of belonging and teamwork. This approach not only helps achieve goals but also strengthens core values. Note, one does not have to be a leader or manager to recognize the outstanding contributions of another.
Your Analysis
1. Recall a Contribution: Recall a time when you observed one or more individuals at work who made an extraordinary contribution or took an action that aligned closely with the organization’s values and goals, and you felt they should have been recognized for their contribution.
2. Identify the Actors: Name the person—or the people—you feel should have been recognized.
3. Paint the Scene: Describe the context and the contribution. Consider:
Where and when did this happen?
What where the circumstances?
What was the person (or persons) trying to achieve? -

“Personal Leadership Action Plan: Identifying Opportunities and Challenges, Analyzing Strategies, and Creating a Plan for Success” Introduction: Leadership is a complex and multifaceted concept that can be approached from various perspectives. Throughout UWW 320, we
The Personal Leadership Action Plan Approximately 3-4 pages
The final project in UWW 320 is the Personal Leadership Action Plan. We will explore leadership from many different perspectives, and I’m hoping that this project will make it possible for you to bring together some of the ideas, issues, and questions we discuss during the class in a way that means something to you.
The Plan is due towards the end of class, but you should be thinking about it now. If one of the approaches to understanding leadership rings true for you and helps you understand your own or your boss’s leadership behavior, make the connection in a sentence or two so that you can go back to it when you put the Plan together.
There are three parts to the Plan:
• A description of a current or future leadership opportunity or a leadership problem you have identified. In a few paragraphs, present either a leadership opportunity that you see for yourself or another person or a public leadership problem that should be addressed. The opportunity can be anything, obtaining a promotion at work, advocating for your child, running for School Committee in your town, or creating a fundraising campaign in your church, but it must be something real in your experience. The problem, too, can be anything that is connected with leadership, an incompetent boss, a territorial committee chair, or a co-worker that causes conflict at work. If this is a personal affiliate, please don’t use real names, or even real organizations. Just describe the situation briefly. (2 paragraphs at most)
• An analysis of the opportunity or problem in terms of one or more of the leadership ideas we have discussed in class. Now look at the situation you have described in the light of some of the ideas you have read about and we’ve discussed in class. If you’re contemplating moving into a new leadership position, how do you evaluate your leadership style, for example? What traits do you have that are common to effective leaders? What are some aspects of the environment or situation you would be entering that you need to pay attention to? What are the pressures on people in leadership positions in your organization? If you’re analyzing a problem boss, is he or she like Achilles in Ender’s Shadow (I hope not!), like Bean, like Poke? What skills or elements of an effective leadership style is the boss missing? Is there a way to help the boss become a more effective leader?
• A research/action plan in which you describe ( the steps ) as to how you will learn more about the opportunity/problem and what you will to do to carry out the plan. Now decide how you will proceed. What additional reading will you do about particular issues in leadership? List the books and articles you will examine in a bibliography. Will you interview some people that you regard as effective leaders? Who will you interview? Why? What questions will you ask? If you decide to run for office, how will you evaluate your support? Whom will you engage to help with your campaign? Why? What skills, knowledge, traits or styles would they bring to the project? -

The Impact of Social Media on Mental Health Among Adolescents Title: Social Media and Adolescent Mental Health: A Critical Analysis “Exploring Righteous Leadership: An Annotated Bibliography on Contemporary Perspectives and Applications” “Leading with Righteousness: Contemporary Applications of Biblical Principles in 1 & 2 Kings”
The paper will focus on pages 132-221 of Tony Merida’s “Exalting Jesus in 1 & 2 Kings.” It will emphasize a theme discussed within those specific pages. Let’s assume that one of the key themes in those chapters is the significance of righteous leadership, specifically focusing on the story of King Josiah.
Title: The Significance of Righteous Leadership in 1 & 2 Kings
This paper explores the theme of righteous leadership in the books of 1 & 2 Kings, as discussed in Tony Merida’s “Exalting Jesus in 1 & 2 Kings,” particularly from pages 132-221. The theme highlights the impact of formal and informal leaders who follow God’s guidance and uphold moral integrity. The relevance of this theme in contemporary leadership contexts is examined, emphasizing its importance for current and future leaders. The paper is supported by scholarly sources illustrating righteous leadership’s enduring significance. Introduction
The books of 1 & 2 Kings provide a rich historical narrative demonstrating God’s hand in the rise and fall of leaders. A recurring theme in these chapters is the significance of righteous leadership. Tony Merida emphasizes this theme, showing how leaders who follow God’s commandments and exhibit moral integrity positively influence their nations. This theme remains relevant today as it underscores the importance of ethical leadership in various organizational contexts. Righteous Leadership in 1 & 2 Kings
Merida (2015) highlights numerous examples of righteous and unrighteous leaders in 1 & 2 Kings. The righteous leaders, such as King Josiah, are depicted as those who seek God’s guidance, implement reforms, and lead their people toward spiritual renewal. In contrast, unrighteous leaders, such as King Ahab, lead their people astray, resulting in national turmoil and divine judgment. Merida includes this information to underscore the profound impact that leadership has on a nation’s spiritual and moral health. Relevance of Righteous Leadership Today
The theme of righteous leadership is particularly relevant today, where ethical lapses among leaders are all too common. Contemporary leaders can draw lessons from the biblical accounts to understand the importance of integrity, accountability, and moral courage. Studies have shown that ethical leadership leads to higher employee satisfaction, increased trust, and improved organizational performance (Brown & Treviño, 2020). Thus, the principles of righteous leadership from 1 & 2 Kings can guide modern leaders in fostering ethical organizational cultures. Personal Reflection and Future Leadership
As an aspiring leader, the theme of righteous leadership holds significant importance for my personal and professional development. In my current role as a manager, I strive to lead with integrity and make decisions that reflect ethical principles. Looking forward, I am committed to developing these qualities further to inspire trust and respect among my team. By adhering to the principles of righteous leadership, I aim to create a positive and ethical work environment that aligns with my values and faith. Conclusion
Tony Merida’s exploration of righteous leadership in 1 & 2 Kings provides timeless lessons on the impact of ethical and moral leadership. This theme is crucial for contemporary leaders who seek to lead with integrity and inspire positive change. By learning from the examples of biblical leaders, modern leaders can navigate the complexities of their roles with wisdom and moral clarity.
