Independent research.  Suggestions for identifying data:  OECD.org; CIA World Fact book; and the World Health Organization. Basically answer the questions.

  • “The Impact of Social Media on Mental Health: A Comprehensive Analysis” “Plagiarism and Academic Integrity: Understanding the Consequences”

Now it’s time to put all of your project components together into a final five-seven page APA research paper. The research paper is designed to enhance your learning on a topic from the course, provide you with an opportunity to work on your writing skills, give you the time to research scholarly sources and finally, teach yourself to construct an upper-level writing assignment within a timed period and under specific guidelines.
Instructions: The actual paper must follow all of the written instructions that are required for all professional paper submissions. However, the basic requirements of the paper are: It will be presented in a formal research paper, with a research question, and formal language (i.e. not first person language). NOTE: This is not a report paper, so you should have a question that you are supporting with evidence throughout the paper, not simply reporting on a topic. See the following resource for more description on this difference: http://askalibrarian.mwcc.edu/faq/85227
It will be at least five pages in length and no longer than seven. See how to number your pages below for this assignment.
It must include five-seven sources in the reference list, AND one of these must be your course text from class. You may also use more than seven sources, but you may not use less than five.
The paper must be formatted within APA guidelines, including the citation and reference format. Provide both in-text citations (author date format) and a reference list of your sources. All sources should be cited within the document.
Follow all APA writing guidelines for a research paper (e.g. include a Title Page, abstract, running head, etc.). Remember to make sure anything in the header section (running head and page numbers) match the font style of the text in your paper. See the following OwlPurdue link for more information: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/purdue_owl.html
The paper should contain each of these areas:
Title Page (this needs to be in APA format, see the above link for more information. Write out the course name. Do not number this page for this assignment)
Abstract (this needs to be a separate page with key words at the end of the Abstract. For this assignment start page number 1 on your Abstract)
Introduction to the paper (this should start with an interesting statement or points or a research question, then include your thesis statement, along with the final sentence which previews the points to be covered in the body of the paper. Refer to your research outline.)
Body paragraphs (three-five paragraphs depending on how many main points you have identified, and all of these points should support your thesis statement. Refer to your research outline)
Conclusion (this should restate your thesis and the points covered that provided support, and then wrap things all together with an interesting statement to conclude)
Reference list (all sources in this section in APA format. One of these sources must be your course text from class. Your 5-7 page count will not include the reference list for this assignment. ) Page numbering for this assignment:
    – Title Page, do not number
    – Abstract, start page 1 – Introduction, Body paragraphs, Conclusion will be page 2 up to at least page 5 but no longer than 7 pages
    – Reference list, you can continue with the page numbering but they do not count towards the 5-7 total pages for this assignment. One of these sources must be your course text from class
Please reach out early if you have questions, this is not an assignment that you want to wait for the last minute to write!
Originality Review: It is expected that all work submitted for this course is original to the student author, and has not be submitted previously to another course, or to another section of this course. Each student submission will be submitted to the MSU Originality Checker “Unicheck” and a report will be provided to the student and instructor based on the originality of the work being presented. Submissions that receive a high non-originality percentage (i.e. material that is indicated as not original to the paper) will be reviewed by the instructor and discussed with the student. Situations of suspected plagiarism may be reported to the MSU Academic Misconduct committee, as described in course expectations and institutional policies (please refer to the Course Information Module for more description.)

  • Title: Improving Patient Satisfaction through Quality Improvement Initiatives

Use the Final PowerPoint [PPTX] template to create a 3–5 minute recorded PowerPoint presentation of 8–12 preformatted slides. The template provides the outline of what you need to cover in the presentation. The goal of this assessment is to communicate essential elements of your analysis in a succinct manner. A 3- to 5-minute presentation may not seem long, but it is the reality in today’s healthcare workplace. Busy executives will not be able to spare more time than this. The presentation is for interdepartmental senior leadership team viewing.
Be sure to include visual summaries of your data, such as a pie chart or graph. The summarized data visual display should be in a readable format in a Word document or spreadsheet. It is important to include specific titles for the data summaries that identify the subject matter and measurement units.

  • Title: “Exploring Perspectives: Answering One Question”

please answer ONLY ONE question from the 5 question options. ONLY ONE QUESTION and please state in your responce which questuon you chose.

  • Title: Anesthesia Implications for a Patient with Obesity and Co-morbidities: A Case Study

    Hi!
I attached the case study guidelines, rubric, and the example posted. I won’t need the title page. Can you please start with the essay’s body and continue until the reference page?  I uploaded my care plan as ACP 4.
Also, the professor’s review was ” You are missing great detail regarding the patient’s obesity. There are a multitude of anesthesia implications starting with ventilation, decreased FRC, decreased reserve during apnea, increased V/Q mismatch, and higher airway pressure needed for ventilation. Make sure to look all of that up and add it. This case is a good one for your case study. Just make sure to add a bunch of information for their co-morbidities.” Can you incorporate those critiques?

  • Title: Developing a Thesis and Paper Outline for a Research Paper

It is time to start developing your ideas for your Research Paper. We will begin this process by creating a draft thesis and paper outline. The first step is your thesis statement.
STEP ONE: Developing the Thesis Statement
Your thesis should add a problem, argument, and/or opinion to your topic of interest. Include: a) your specific subject b) an opinion c) a blueprint of reasoning.
    Avoid arguments like:
“Summer is hot and people should drink water” (too obvious), “We should add a houseplant to main entrance” (not interesting/relevant. What’s the purpose? Is there a need/urgency?) “Health care is too expensive” (too broad. focus on a specific program, location, population)
“Feather-blowing is a unique, but effective treatment program for veterans with asthma who grew up on farms” (Very obscure, are you going to find enough scholarly sources to effectively research this topic?)
“100% of hospitals should have free MRI scans to anyone who wants them” (nice idea, but is this realistic? Work with reasonable resources).
Thesis example: “Engaging people with Alzheimer’s through reminiscence-based movement programming is a low-cost tool that is beneficial for our participants, our communities, and our bottom line.”
This thesis includes a specific topic which includes a specific program and population. It is interesting, but not obvious or trite. Right away, the audience knows the opinion and purpose of the author. This can easily tie back in to an organization’s mission statement (serving the community, etc). It is realistic (low-cost). There is a blueprint which will serve as organization for the final proposal – (benefits for 1) participants, 2) community, 3) bottom line).
For more information on writing a thesis statement, please see OwlPurdue: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/general_writing/the_writing_process/thesis_statement_tips.html
STEP TWO: Drafting a Paper Outline
    Why create an outline?
Aids in the process of writing
    Helps you organize your ideas
Presents your material in a logical form
Shows the relationships among ideas in your writing
Constructs an ordered overview of your writing
    Defines boundaries and groups
How do I create an outline?
Determine the purpose of your paper.
Determine the audience you are writing for.
Develop the thesis of your paper.
    Drafting the outline:
Brainstorm: List all the ideas that you want to include in your paper.
    Organize: Group related ideas together.
Order: Arrange material in subsections from general to specific.
Label: Create main and sub headings.
Basically, your outline will constitute three main parts namely the Introduction, the Body and the Conclusion! Instructions:
Create an alpha-numeric full-sentence outline to your research paper. Include your: 1) thesis, topic, 2) keywords, 3) introduction, 4) 3-5 supporting ideas in the body of your discussion, and 5) point for your conclusion.
Use this structure of the Research Paper Outline document as a guide (included as an attachment) . You can change this format as long as you include the sections discussed above. Create an original document for submission. Paper Outline Template- Fall 2019.docx

  • “Human Resources: Leveraging Workforce Planning for Competitive Advantage in Healthcare Organizations” Title: Strategic Human Resource Planning for St. Anthony Medical Center: Analysis and Recommendations Based on the Vila Health Media Simulation

For the Human Resources: Strategy and Competitive Advantage assessment
you will develop a 3-5-page report that analyzes an organization’s
current workforce compared to predicted future needs. The report should
also include an analysis as to how human resources can provide a
    competitive advantage.
    Introduction:
Workforce planning occurs when organizational hiring managers
work alongside their organization’s human resource department to
forecast staffing needs and develop a plan to meet those needs (Longest
& Darr, 2014). To support many of the initiatives identified via the
strategic planning process, talent must be developed within the
organization, or recruited into the organization. The planning process
includes identifying the organization’s talent needs, followed by an
identification of the competencies, values, and behaviors required for
effective performance. The workforce of the organization is often one of
the largest competitive advantages the organization has and it must be
    valued, cultivated, and maintained.
Human resource management is the process by which an
organization identifies, selects, trains, and manages their workforce.
Due to a shortage of health care professionals and clinicians, a
significant challenge faced by health care organizations is attracting
and retaining highly qualified and competent individuals (Healey &
Marchese, 2012). Building and creating high performing teams is
important, as the industry is in need of individuals who can overcome
obstacles and respond quickly to the rapidly changing environment.
Attributes of high performing teams include trust, accountability,
communication, and collaboration (Hakanen & Soudunsaari, 2012).
Developing and sustaining high performing teams requires human resource
personnel to ensure effective strategies are in place to recruit and
retain individuals who can meet the rigorous demands of the industry. An
organization successful at creating these teams is capable of
transforming themselves into a high reliability organization in which
patients are treated and serviced with minimal compromise to quality or
    patient safety.

Longest, B. B., & Darr, K. (2014). Managing health services organizations and systems (6th ed.). Baltimore, MD: Health Professions Press.
    Demonstration of Proficiency:
Competency 2: Apply theories and best practices in human
resource and workforce management to solve organizational issues in
    health care systems.
Analyze the current workforce in comparison to the needs of the future.
Describe ideal staffing plans for the organization based upon understanding of future needs.
    Explain implications for the organization’s
future if the workforce is unable to accommodate and support the needs
    of the organization.
Analyze how human resources can be seen as a competitive advantage within the organization.
Competency 3: Analyze the components of high performance teams to enable the achievement of the departmental strategic vision.
Identify appropriate measures to evaluate and determine the success of the newly implemented staffing plan.
Competency 4: Communicate in a manner that is scholarly,
professional, and respectful of the diversity, dignity, and integrity
of others and is consistent with health care professionals.
Demonstrate effective communication through writing and proper use of APA style.
Communicate in a professional and effective
manner by writing content clearly and logically, with correct use of
    grammar, punctuation, and spelling.
    Preparation:
This assessment is based upon the scenario presented in the Vila Health: Human Resources media simulation. Be sure you have completed this activity before you begin your assessment.
It may be helpful to consider the following as you work through the simulation:
What is the current state of the workforce in compare to the needs of the future in the simulation?
What should be an ideal staffing plan to consider?
How can human resources be seen as a competitive advantage within the organization?
What could be the implications of not addressing the
organization’s workforce as it relates to its strategic goals identified
for the future of the organization?
What are three measures you would implement to determine
whether the new human resource staffing plan has effectively met the
    needs of the organization?
    Instructions:
Human resources are those individuals with specialized skills
and commitment to deliver health services. Strategic human resource
planning enables organizations to support their master strategic plan by
ensuring the organization is equipped from a human capital perspective
    to meet future demands.
For this assessment, put yourself in the role of a leader at
St. Anthony Medical Center. You are making a report regarding your
observations and analysis in the wake of what happened in the Vila
Health media simulation related to this assessment.
This assessment can be organized into 2 parts:
Part 1: Comparison of Current Workforce to Future Needs.
Part 2: Staffing Plan and Competitive Advantage.
Part 1: Comparison of Current Workforce to Future Needs
For this part, present your analysis of St. Anthony Medical
Center’s (SAMC) current state and preparedness with regard to their
workforce. Additionally, comment briefly on how this compares to the
needs and gaps you noted in the media scenario.
As you complete this part, it may be helpful to consider the following:
What is the capacity now based upon current staffing?
What is the current state of the workforce in compare to the needs of the future for SAMC?
What issues will be caused by the difference between current and future staffing capacity?
Part 2: Staffing Plan and Competitive Advantage
For this part of the assessment, you will present an ideal
staffing plan based upon your analysis of the media simulation. Your
plan should include measures that can be used to judge its success.
Additionally, to help illustrate your plan’s importance and benefits to
SAMC, present a compelling argument about what impact it may have on the
organization if your staffing plan is not adopted, as well as the
benefits of creating a competitive advantage through human resources.
As you complete this part of your assessment, it may be helpful to consider:
What should be an ideal staffing plan to consider (more staff, less staff, or a diversified workforce, etcetera)?
What can the future staffing model do for the organization?
What three measures would you implement to determine
whether the new human resource staffing plan has effectively met the
    needs of the organization?
How might the organization be impacted moving forward if workforce issues are not addressed?
How could this impact the organization’s ability to meet strategic goals?
    What is a competitive advantage?
How can human resources become an advantage for an organization within the industry?
    Additional Requirements:
Structure: Include a title page, table of contents, and reference page.
    Length: 3–5 pages.
References: Cite at least three current scholarly or professional resources.
Format: Use APA style for references and citations.

  • Executive Summary for Health Care Information Review Overview: The proposed health care information review aims to assess the quality of care given to a specific population within our physician group. Through this review, we plan to collect data on various aspects of patient care and “Summary Report – Implementing a Health Care Information Review: Improving Quality of Care and Data Security” Executive Summary: This summary report outlines the plan for implementing a health care information review study within a physician group. The purpose of this study is to

Write an executive summary (1–2 pages) for senior leaders that
highlights key information about the proposed health care information
review of the quality of care given to a specific population. Detail the
proposed implementation steps and associated time frames in a Gantt
    chart (one-page chart).
    Introduction:
    Write
an executive summary (1–2 pages) for senior leaders that highlights key
information about the proposed health care information review of the
quality of care given to a specific population. Detail the proposed
implementation steps and associated time frames in a Gantt chart
    (one-page chart).
As the office manager of your physician group, you realize
that obtaining funding for your proposal will require the approval of
the physician group’s senior leaders. You and the others helping you
implement the proposal will need the details your proposal contains.
From experience, however, you have learned the senior leaders will not
take the time to review all the details. For them to approve your
proposal, they simply want the highlights of what you plan to do, a
brief explanation of how it will identify the quality of patient care,
and the amount of time it will take to complete the study. In this final
assessment, you will prepare a summary report for the senior leaders of
your physician group. Your summary report is an abbreviated version of
    your proposal.
Please carefully review this assessment’s scoring guide to
better understand the performance levels relating to each criterion on
    which you will be evaluated.
    Instructions:
Download and use the Summary Report Template [DOCX]. You will complete this assessment by replacing all italicized instructional text with your own words.

    Gantt Chart
Include with your Summary Report a one-page Gantt chart that
specifies the major steps in your implementation plan and the time frame
associated with each step. Microsoft Excel is one tool you can use to
create your chart. Your suggested readings supply additional information
about how to create a Gantt chart in Excel. Please feel free to use
other tools. The only requirement is that your Gantt chart specify the
major steps in your implementation plan and the time frame associated
    with each step.
    Additional Requirements:
    Written communication: Your executive
summary must be concise, clear, and well organized, with correct
spelling, grammar, and syntax, to support orderly exposition of content.
    Use the Summary Report Template.

    professionals.
Write clearly, with correct spelling, grammar, and syntax, and good organization.
Apply proper APA formatting and style to citations and references.

  • Annotated Bibliography: Five Scholarly Sources to Support Research on [Topic] 1. APA Reference: Garcia, J., & Smith, M. (2019). The Impact of Social Media on Mental Health in Adolescents. Journal

For this assignment you will find five scholarly sources to support your research. One of these sources should be a chapter or selection from your text. The other sources should be peer-reviewed articles from academic journals. In general, source material should be published within the last 10 years. Use the library for help to search for articles you will need to successfully complete this assignment. http://library.auraria.edu/
Write an annotation of each source in APA format. If appropriate, you may use articles from reputable websites in addition to your five required sources.
Instructions: Read and summarize your research articles. Write an annotated bibliography of the information that is useful for your research paper. There is not a page requirement for this assignment, you must only follow the instructions below.
For your assignment submission, you will: 1) provide a full APA reference for each of your articles, and 2) write an annotation/summary for each article. You should summarize each article in 1-2 paragraphs. Here are the components you should include in your annotation:
Provide an APA citation for each of your sources.
Provide a summary to describe the article. For example, you could address the following questions: 1) What are the main points of the article, 2) What did they do (i.e. what research strategies/process did they apply?), and 3) What were the conclusions that the authors made?
Conclude with a statement of how each article will support your topic or argument. The article could be providing background information for your research topic or it could be presenting a strategy, process, or conclusion that is an important finding for your topic.
NOTE: Do not personalize your literature review. Leave out “I” or “my” references within your literature review. Instead, stick to the facts. “The research found in this article suggests…” This is not the section of the paper where you want to voice opinions or experiences. For citation and annotation examples, please see OwlPurdue link: https://owl.purdue.edu/owl/general_writing/common_writing_assignments/annotated_bibliographies/annotated_bibliography_samples.html
