A PERFECT WORLD
FINAL PROJECT
For this Final Project, you will be creating a utopia. Consider real world problems and try to solve them. Consider all of the dystopian fictions we have looked at and try to avoid those mistakes. How can you do better? What are the most important aspects of building a society? Is it a place without hunger, suffering or want? Is it a place of equality, fulfillment and productivity? Be careful of unintended consequences. You really have to think it through. Remember, some of the worst places in the 20th century (Nazi Germany, Stalin’s Soviet Union) were someone’s idea of a utopia. 
1. Your utopia must include these two things:
Discussion of a political system
Discussion of an economic system
You will also discuss how these systems will not be used for injustice. How will you ensure they will work well for everyone? You must employ persuasive techniques to show that your approach will not replicate the problems already seen in these systems.
2. Your utopia must select one contemporary problem and show how it is solved in your world (not just say it is solved-create the solution).
3. Your project will discuss at least 3 aspects of society from the list below:

You will discuss a minimum of 6 aspects of your utopia (political, economic, solution to a current problem and three socials of your choice).

You will have an introduction in which you describe your world in specific terms-what it looks like, how its citizens are content, and how your utopia will succeed. 
You will name and visualize your utopia. Your utopia will have a motto.

Part 1: Create an APA reference for each source
