Part A: Assessment Plan (Proposal/Paper)
Based on the outline you developed in Week 5 (Assignment 5.2) compose a 5- to 10-page proposal for your assessment plan. The proposal should be addressed to and written for the appropriate leadership stakeholders at your institution.
The proposal should also clearly and completely address each of the following questions:
·       What will be assessed?
·       Why is it important?
o   Specifically, what are the pros and cons of the assessment?
·       How will it be assessed?
·       Who will be the population being assessed?
·       What is the timeline?
·       How will data be analyzed?
·       How will results be shared?

For this assignment, you will write your METHODS section for the Research Proposal. This section should be written in “future tense”. Do not write it in “past tense”. Future tense language that you should use will include, “The researcher will…”
Step 1: Review your five articles you submitted for the your Literature Review to determine how they created 1) Research Design; 2) Context, Population and Sampling; 3) Instruments; 4) Procedures; and 5) Data Analysis. Keep in mind, the researchers in your articles will use “past tense” langauge. Why? Because they actually conducted the research. You have not conducted the research, so you should not write in “past tense” language. 
Step 2: After reviewing your five articles, write your 1) Research Design; 2) Context, Population and Sampling; 3) Instruments; 4) Procedures; and 5) Data Analysis. Keep in mind, you will use “future tense” language. Why? Because you have not conducted the research. You are proposing what you will do if you were to actually do the research! Be sure to use each of the five headings – 1) Research Design; 2) Context, Population and Sampling; 3) Instruments; 4) Procedures; and 5) Data Analysis.

Basically…from reading and choosing the following two main documents, I plan to create an essay that will be reviewed by multiple professors so it has to be original. I have full turnitin access to check. Using the easy to read indigenous action plan, you will critically analyse it by writing an essay utilizing Bacchi’s WPR approach, I can give you the questions that are directly related to the professor’s prompt. I also have around 5000 words written already, but you would need to do the work to make it an amazing paper.

You will describe the influence of speaking and listening development on the development of reading and writing skills. This would be presented as professional development for early childhood education teachers. Include the following in your Lope Talk video:

Teachers must understand the socio-emotional, cultural, and linguistic needs of ELLs to appropriately plan, teach, and assess their students. Theories and research related to the nature and acquisition of language should undergird how linguistic needs of ELLs are addressed. The potential social and emotional barriers and complexities of culture that affect ELLs should be considered if a teacher plans to support the whole learner and facilitate learning effectively for their ELL students. 
Imagine the next goal of your ELL task force is to design a training manual to be used by your school district to prepare new classroom teachers in supporting the needs of ELLs.  
Create a 4-5 page (1,000-1,250 word) training manual that includes the following topics: 
First and Second Language Acquisition Theories
Stages of Second Language Acquisition 
English Language Proficiency/Development Standards and Levels
Cultural Considerations for ELLs
Socio-Emotional Needs of ELLs 
For each topic, include the following information:  
Brief explanation providing foundational knowledge of the topic
A minimum of three concise classroom examples of how to apply foundational knowledge of the topic to inform the learning environment, planning and instruction, or assessment and evaluation of ELLs  
Support your training manual with 3-5 scholarly resources.
