  • “Supporting Language Development and Communication Skills for All Early Childhood Students: A Three-Day Unit Plan with Differentiated Instruction and Collaboration” Part 1: Three-Day Unit Plan Title: “Communicating with Confidence: Developing Language Skills in Grade 3

2 PARTS TO THIS ORDER    I HAVE ATTACHED THE 3 DAY LESSON PLAN
Teachers must plan lessons that support language development and communication skills for all early childhood students, including those with exceptionalities. The ability to adapt content based on data, utilize a variety of instructional strategies, and provide varied methods of assessment is essential for meeting student needs. Finally, being knowledgeable about augmentative and alternative communication systems and assistive technologies allows teachers to support the diverse needs of learners in mastering the desired classroom outcomes.
The grade selected is , Grade 3, using Oklahoma State Standard that focuses on listening and speaking, and/or language. Using the “3 Day COE Unit Plan Template,” create a three-day unit plan that will support the development of the selected standard for all students. Use the class profile for the selected grade level to differentiate and adapt your unit plan based on the needs and abilities listed for each student. Complete all sections of the unit plan, paying particular attention to the following:
Multiple Means of Representation: Summarize how you will present the content in various ways to meet the needs of different learners.
Multiple Means of Engagement: Describe developmentally appropriate strategies/activities to enhance language development and communication skills of the students in the class profile, including the use of augmentative and alternative communication systems.
Multiple Means of Expression: Summarize the various ways in which students will demonstrate what they have learned.
Write a 250-500 word rationale that you would use to present your unit plan to your instructional team that discusses the following:
How data from the class profile was used to select, develop, and adapt learning experiences for students with and without exceptionalities
How the learning experiences are reflective of students’ abilities, interests, and cultural and linguistic factors
How you could collaborate with families and other team members to support these learning experiences
Support this assignment with a minimum of 3-5 resources.

  • Title: “Developing a Reading Intervention Plan for a 10th Grade Male Student with ADD in a Content Area Classroom”

Many students struggle academically across content areas because they are performing below grade level in reading/literacy. The ability to assess students, analyze assessment data, and work with parents/guardians and other stakeholders to develop specific intervention plans is critical in helping all students achieve their academic goals. Clearly communicating information about student skills and proposed interventions to all stakeholders can ensure collaboration in the development and implementation of a reading intervention plan.
Reading Case Study: 10th grade male
    Student: 10th grade male
English is the student’s first language.
The student has a 504 Plan for ADD.
    Lexile level = 970-1030.
The student struggles with comprehending what was read and currently performs approximately two grade levels below grade level.
The student’s fluency lags slightly and is approximately a year below grade level.
The student tries hard despite attention challenges, and he is motivated to learn.
The student actively participates in class but speaks out of turn.
The student is very social and has a lot of friends.
The student enjoys playing soccer and is in the school choir.
Using the Reading Case Study data provided above, develop a 500–750 word intervention plan specific to your content area to support the student with literacy in your classroom. In the plan, address the following:
Identification of state content area standards that align with the student’s learning needs and can be used to support literacy development in the content area.
Creation of three literacy performance objectives for the student to meet, within the context of the identified state standards that align to the specific content area.
Identification of at least one technology-based application or program that will help the student build literacy skills in the content area and a rationale for how the use of the tool will benefit the student.
Selection of three interventions to help the student progress toward meeting the selected content area standards and literacy performance objectives. Include a rationale for the use of each intervention.
Identification of three progress monitoring/summative assessments that could be used to document and monitor student progress. At least one online tool should be included. Describe how each will be used, including implementation frequency.
Support the communication with 3-5 scholarly resources.

  • Title: Addressing Reading Comprehension Needs in a Fourth Grade Student

These essay responses are designed to provide practice, review and assessment of the concepts and strategies involved in teaching K-8 ELA content standards which overlap with the RICA standards or content specifications. The prompts are found in the course text (Chee) – this table  indicates the page number where the prompts can be found within each chapter (page numbers correspond to Chee, 4th ed.). Click here for the RICA Practice Essay folder, which includes the Exercise Prompts for RICA Practice Essays #1 and 2 (in case the page numbers do not match your addition of the text). Students must use the Chee textbook to correctly answer the RICA Practice Essays: Exercise Prompts questions by choosing an effective pedagogical strategy discussed in the text. Follow the prompt precisely and put the “tips” provided in your own words. You must include:
A clear explanation of the student’s need with examples from the assessment and evidence as to why you have assessed it as the primary need (you can also add student strengths to show your understanding of the assessment).
Explanation of the strategy that shows the steps yu will take to implement the method to address the student’s need.
Rationale as to why this need will best support the student’s learning as a result of the need you need to focus on.

  • Fire Dynamics and Fire Attack Tactics Fire Dynamics and Fire Attack Tactics Introduction Fire dynamics and fire attack tactics are essential concepts in understanding and managing fires. These concepts involve the study of how fires behave and how firefighters can effectively attack and extinguish them

Assignment objective: Your goal in this assignment is to analyze a scenario-based case study utilizing scholarly
resources and the materials presented in the unit. This will help you develop a deeper understanding of the practical
applications of the theories discussed throughout our course and encourage critical thinking.
Details: For this assignment, you will complete an essay based on the scenario-based case study. The essay should
contain narrative focusing on arguments that support what the authors discuss in Units IV through VII and the assigned
course textbook chapters, as well as other research that you conduct related to these concepts.
Be sure to use APA Style Level Headings as needed to separate and organize your paper into sections (See this Level
Headings tutorial for help with level headings).
To review the original case study again please click here to view the scenario. Please click here to access a PDF of the
    presentation.
The list below may help you in focusing on three or four of for main concepts covered in Units IV through VII:
The plume of a fire burning in the apartment contains three zones. What are the differences between the layers in the
    zones?
The ventilation pattern can change during a fire. What determines the hot upper layer temperature and optical density
during a fire in a compartment with an opening?
With the intense heat in the room, is the cooking oil already evaporating sufficiently to reach the lower flammability limit in
the vapor phase over the fuel surface?
Does chemical change occur within solid materials in and around the apartment and within the chemistry of the volatiles
    during pyrolysis?
Were there any factors that influenced the smoke or fire effluent occurrence of the extreme fire behavior phenomenon?
Did the radiative transfer from the soot, flames, and hot upper layers in the fire room affect the rate at which the fuel
burns and the likelihood of ignition? Did this affect fire attack or rescue efforts?
What effect did the smoke obscuration have on fire attack or even rescue efforts?
Is water with added wetting agents more effective than plain water for the extinction of fire in fibrous materials, such as
    furnishings?
Does the use of firefighting foam, when combined with other tactics, create a more efficient fire attack?
Do wetting agents improve water efficiency, (surface tension reduction) when used on structure fires?
Length: Your submission should be at least 2-3-pages in length, not including the title page and references.
References: A minimum of 2 references are required
