Is the cultural group well represented in the U.S.?
Research the latest demographic data available for this group’s population in the U.S. and your city.
What are the key characteristics of this cultural group, such as language, values, and customs?
How is this group portrayed in the media?
Cultural Oppression
Has this cultural group experienced any type of oppression and privilege throughout history?
What is this cultural group’s current social standing related to oppression and privilege?
What is the best way to be an ally of this group?
After collecting the material, create a PowerPoint Presentation that showcases all the information gathered from the interview/research. You can write in the first person.
During the interview, you are welcome to enter a dialogue with the interviewee when responses about gender, race, or ethnicity elicit more information.
Presentation format
Title slide – Culture’s name, your name, and Galen institution’s name.
Content slides – 8-10 (Excluding the title and references slides), your presentation should include your research on all the prompts, in the given order above. You may go beyond the slide limit.
Conclusion – Synthesize a summary of your content into a conclusion slide. Which aspects stood out for you, and how did learning about this culture contribute to your cultural competency?
Last Slide(s) – References in APA format. Include in-text citations in the body of the slides.

Objective: To analyse and evaluate key theories and concepts in the Cultural and Creative Industries
(CCI) combined with a policy case analysis. 
Instructions: 
In this assessment, you must write an essay on Global Creative and Cultural Industries theory and
apply the theory to an example of policy extracted from reality. You are required to select one theory
or concept from CCI and critically analyse it, observing a policy that exists. The referred policy can be

Final Paper: Students will write a Research Paper on “Fashion and/as Culture in Italy.” This is simply a broad subject area. When beginning to write the paper, students will need to narrow their investigation and choose their specific topic within the broad subject area. For example: 
 Based on the art and fashion’s long-standing relationship, explore the influence of the great Italian Art on the Italian men’s and women’s way of dressing. 
 Considering Fashion a mirror of our times, explore how Italian Fashion reflects the way of life of the Italians; 
 Compare and contrast the development of Italian Fashion with fashion from another country. 
Paper must include a title, a clear thesis statement, a Work Cited list, and a Bibliography.
Students are required to locate independently and use at least 4 sources relevant to their proposed research paper topic (documentaries, books, articles, etc.) One of those 4 sources must be a peer-reviewed article.
Thesis: It is because of Italy’s rich social and artistic culture that they have a distinct and influential fashion industry, one that continues to influence western standards and pop culture.
