Imagine you are a defense attorney whose job is to argue an appeal
for your client before the U.S. Supreme Court. Your client is an African
American male who was sentenced to death for a capital crime. The
appeal is based on racial discrimination in sentencing.
Discuss how you may use the victim-offender dyad and differences between disparity and discrimination to make your case.
Additionally, find a case that has been overturned on the basis of racial discrimination and summarize it.

If given unlimited resources, design your own juvenile justice facility. Start off with a name, mission statement and the goals of the facility.  You decide the type of facility; to include the gender and population of your “clients”.  Make sure to include information about the program, activities, staff, educational, treatment, and correctional components. Ensure you add a  budget; making sure it is accurate and the numbers add up!   Please add pictures and be creative with this project.  Remember, you must cite borrowed material, to include any pictures or graphs you use.

For this assignment, you will locate two peer-reviewed journal articles that focus on female victims of a specific sex crime or domestic violence. Both of your articles should focus on the same type of crime but can differ in other ways, like methods, sample and population, findings, etc. (e.g., both articles focus on sexual assault victims; both articles focus on spousal rape). You will compare and contrast the two articles. In doing so, you should include the following (at a minimum):

You have been tasked with explaining to a class the four primary types of intent for murder and providing a factual scenario that fits each type. The types include purposely; knowingly; recklessly; and negligently.
