Please watch the video to answer the following questions about the safety rules that should be followed by students working in a chemistry laboratory. 1. Why should small containers be used to handle liquids in the laboratory? 2. What are the correct rules for the safe use of Bunsen burners? 3. What are the procedures to be followed when spills of corrosive reagents occur on oneself or a lab surface? 4. What is the protective equipment to wear in the chemistry laboratory? 5. Mention the essential emergency equipment to be used in the chemistry laboratory.

  • “Titration Experiment Report: Determining the Concentration of an Unknown Acid Solution” Introduction: Titration is a common laboratory technique used to determine the concentration of an unknown solution. It involves the gradual addition of a known solution (titrant) to

Write a 1 page report on the titration experiment.  Report should have intro, objective, materials and methods, results, and conclusion,  Remember to add balanced equation in report and show calculations for results.

  • Title: The Haber Process: Its Impact and Controversy Surrounding the Nobel Prize

This project highlights the Haber process, which  has made a significant contribution to modern society. There is an interesting background story that promotes cultural appreciation.
This process was discovered by the German chemist Fritz Haber in the early twentieth century. Through extensive experimentation, Haber found the conditions that would produce adequate yields (at a temperature of about 500 oC and a pressure of about 200 atm). This process holds a significant importance today because of its application in the industrial production of ammonia-based fertilizer. In 1918, Haber received the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his work. However, a lot of controversy followed the Nobel Prize award.
Question:  Compare and contrast the positive and negative effects that result from the use of the Haber process.
Discuss the controversy that followed the awarding of the Nobel Prize in Chemistry to Haber.
Based on this discussion, do you think Haber should have been awarded this prestigious award for his work? Explain.

  • Title: Generating Electricity: A Look into the Operations and Costs of a Large-Scale Plant

Write two to three paragraphs describing how electricity is generated for your
selected source. Include in this section specific details about how an actual
electricity generation plant works. Describe the entire process, and you will
most likely need more detail than what is discussed in the text. You might want
to focus on a large-scale plant in the world and access their website on their
operations (most utilities in the United States are happy to share information
about how their plant works). In your paragraphs, you will want to include
    some of the following details:
What size of acreage or square miles does a typical plant take up? size of acreage or square miles does a typical plant take up?What size of acreage or square miles does a typical plant take up? How much does a typical plant cost to build? If the cost is listed per
kWh (kilowatt-hour) or per MW (megawatt), then use the general
production of the plant to determine an overall cost. In other words, a
final cost range for a single plant should be included. How much electricity is generated over a specific time period (such as
    day, month, year)?
    • What is the net efficiency typically found in this type of plant?
    • How does the plant deal with waste products?
    • What are the estimated costs of operatAre there risks to employees? If so, what risks? there risks to employees? If so, what risks?

  • Title: “Exploring a Scientific Solution: Addressing the Problem of Climate Change through Renewable Energy”

The structure of the essay is known to you already, but I am reminding you that the essay evolves around:
    – a research question you form under the chosen topic
    – a clearly defined and explained/discussed problem
    – a SCIENTIFIC solution to the problem, also explained/discussed
    – benefits, limitations and drawbacks of the solution, explained/discussed
-connection with one or two factors
Have in mind that statement, outline, description, explanation and discussion  are different levels of the criterion, thus assessed differently.
Even though I have sent you the following directions before, you didn’t seem to pay much attention. So, here they are again:
    wordcount 750-1200
    aligned text margins
paragraphs split into meaningful wholes (one subtitle – one long paragraph is not a good practice)
number the pages (the front page and contents page are not numbered)
use relevant sources and reference them as both footnotes and bibliography (AI tracker is Turnitin integrated)
do not include images unless they are relevant to the understanding of the text (avoid images for sheer decoration)
keep in mind that statement, outline, explanation and discussion relate to different levels in the assessment criterion
a good discussion is often made by confrontation of opposite opinions, you give your conclusion in the end
