“Interpersonal Relationships and Decision Making in 12 Angry Men: A Reflection on Justice, Morality, and the Legal System”
Final Assignment is as follows:
Watch the movie titled 12 Angry Men. The original film was made in 1957 and is in black and white; while the remake of the film was made in 1997. The topic of the movie involves the interpersonal relationships and decision making processes on 12 jurors in a criminal trial. The content and the language of the film(s) at times can be strong, and the details of the underlying criminal trial are discussed (a son accused of stabbing his father) as well as capital punishment. The 1957 film is unrated, while the 1997 film is rated PG-13. If you, individually, have any underlying personal reasons that you are reluctant to or prohibited from watching the film and/or writing a paper on its content, please email me directly and I can assign a different film. The films are available for free online.
YOU ONLY HAVE TO WATCH one of the films, not both, so choose whichever you prefer.
When you have completed watching the film, you are required to write a 3-5 page reflection paper. 12 point font, standard margins and no more than double spaced. The use of A.I. in any of its forms is strictly prohibited and will be checked.
The paper should provide a summary of the film, discuss your views/observations on the interpersonal relationships and decision making processes of the 12 jurors. In the paper, please explain your thoughts on the outcome, your thoughts on “beyond a reasonable doubt” and whether personal feelings, morals, ethics and opinions should be considered during deliberations of a criminal trial. In class, we discussed the differences between a civil case and a criminal case (burden of proof), so make sure to discuss that, and also include any thoughts you have on right vs. wrong, what seems fair vs. unfair in the law, and any other legal topics you can recall that we discussed in class.
I am looking for your ability to think independently and write a paper expressing your opinion. There are no right or wrong answers in this type of reflection paper, so do not be concerned if your opinion varies from what others might think.
Any paper turned in that is under 3 pages will be downgraded and any paper not turned in by the due date/time will not be graded. As a courtesy, I am giving as long of a deadline as I can for you to complete this assignment, as I am aware that next week is finals week and you all have multiple exams.
If you have questions, reach out to me sooner rather than later and I will be happy to assist. If there is an emergency, you can call or text the number on the syllabus (708) 906-7022. -

Title: The Interplay of Organizational Behavior and Leadership: A Case Study Analysis of Addressing Organizational Challenges for Enhanced Performance and Productivity
Organizational Behavior and Leadership Paper
Write a 10-page paper that explores the intricate relationship between organizational behavior and leadership and its influence on performance and productivity within modern organizations. The research will examine theoretical frameworks, and conduct an investigation to provide a holistic understanding of the subject matter. The paper should provide novel insights to the fields of organizational behavior and leadership while addressing the practical implications for enhancing organizational effectiveness. To write the paper, identify a challenge an organization may have faced (may be an organization you have worked in or a well-known organization whose journey you may have followed). Then, from a theoretical perspective, assess the way the leadership of the organization reacted to the challenge. By reviewing existing literature about addressing the challenge, you can then articulate how similar challenges have been addressed by other organizations in different contexts. The objective of this paper is to then identify a solution that would address the organizational challenge that you have identified. For your reference, the organizational analysis paper is to be approached from an organizational behavior perspective, while this paper is to be approached from a leadership theory perspective. -
“The Power of Storytelling: How Google, Apple, and Microsoft Use Narrative to Engage and Retain Employees in the Tech Industry”
1. Initial Situation and Motivation
In the competitive tech industry, retaining highly skilled employees is as crucial as innovating. Google, Apple, and Microsoft have been pioneers not only in technology but also in creating compelling narratives around their corporate cultures and innovations. This thesis investigates how storytelling within these companies influences employee engagement and retention, addressing a significant gap in understanding the internal marketing strategies of major tech firms.
2. Objective of the Work
This thesis will examine the role of storytelling as a strategic tool for employee engagement within Google, Apple, and Microsoft. It aims to understand how narratives related to company culture and innovation contribute to employee motivation and retention. The study will provide insights into effective storytelling techniques that can be adopted by other companies in the tech industry to enhance their employee engagement strategies.
3. Questions / Hypotheses to be Answered
• Questions:
• How do Google, Apple, and Microsoft use storytelling to engage their employees?
• What aspects of their corporate culture are emphasized in these stories?
• Hypotheses:
• Storytelling that highlights innovation and impact leads to higher employee engagement and retention rates.
• Employees at companies that effectively use storytelling to communicate corporate values report higher job satisfaction and loyalty.
4. Planned Methodological Approach
• Empirical Approach: A qualitative research design will be employed, focusing on case studies from each company. The study will include interviews with employees and analysis of internal communications and media.
• Data Collection: Collection of qualitative data through semi-structured interviews with current and former employees, analysis of internal newsletters, and review of publically available company presentations and speeches.
• Analytical Tools: NVivo for qualitative data analysis to code and analyze interview transcripts and internal documents.

“Greening Luxury: Examining Sustainable Logistics Practices in High-Value Markets through Multiple Case Studies”
The title is:
Green Logistics Practices in Luxury markets (and industry): Sustainability in Global Supply Chain Efficiency in High-Value Markets.
The thesis is EMPIRICAL THESIS, i. e. part of it will be theoretical and part of it research.
The research will include MULTIPLE CASE STUDIES of at least 5 companies, different sector in order to cover the largest range of LUXURY MARKET AND INDUSTRY. I should mention that definitely one company that will be analyzed is LVMH. (MOET HENESSY LOUIS VUITTON), as I believe it will meet the requirements that we will set as criteria for selecting companies.
Also, there will be qualitative research that will be conducted with the approval of the professor, through interviews with people of high level and competent in the field we are investigating, of this market (LUXURY) which I would like to manage to become real, but after discussion and depending on the time conditions we will decide together then whether they will be virtual or not
I would just like the research one.
