Our guest speaker, Dr. Stephanie Gonzaga, speaks to enterprise system implementations within her company, ARCS Commercial Mortgage Company (INF220 Week One Information Systems – The Big Picture Part One and INF220 Week One Information Systems – The Big Picture Part Two). Describe one measurement dimension of the “A Priori Model” using the dimension measurements in the “A Priori Model” diagram (See the Instructor Guidance). For example, data accuracy is a measurement of system quality. A system with good system quality integrates data input validation rules to allow only certain types of data input in specific fields. Identify how Dr. Gonzaga’s IT organization provided enterprise systems that addressed the “A Priori” measurement dimension you identified: system quality, information quality, satisfaction, individual impact, or organizational impact. Give examples to illustrate your answer. Provide justification and citations for your points. Use the provided news report template for your post: INF220 Week 1 Hot Topics Enterprise Systems News Report.

“Contract Scenario: Exploitation of Mental Incapacity and Undue Influence” Contract Scenario: Exploitation of Mental Incapacity and Undue Influence
Contract Scenario
Calvin had been an avid coin collector for many years, and the most valuable coin in his collection was an uncirculated, mint condition, 1943 Lincoln penny made of copper (most pennies made during World War II were made of zinc because copper was needed in the war effort). That penny had a value of between $60,000 and $95,000.
In August of 2017, Calvin had a serious stroke that left him unable to speak or walk, but his doctor assured his family that Calvin would recover over time with intensive therapy.
Calvin was a widower and did not have any children, but he had several nephews who visited him from time to time as he recovered. None of the nephews had any real interest in Calvin’s coin collection. One of Calvin’s nephews, Billy, who visited Calvin more often than the other nephews, sometimes listened to Calvin talk (talking was a part of Calvin’s therapy) about his mounting medical bills and his coin collection, but Billy never showed much interest in the medical bills or the coin collection.
In October, as Calvin’s recovery progressed slowly, Billy visited Calvin and told Calvin that he had been reading about coin collecting, and he realized that Calvin’s collection, especially the 1943 Lincoln copper penny, was valuable, and Billy suggested that Calvin should consider selling the 1943 Lincoln copper penny and use the proceeds to pay his medical bills. Calvin resisted the idea at first, but Billy continued to urge Calvin to sell the penny so that he would not have to worry about the medical bills. Finally, when Billy told Calvin that he would arrange the sale of the penny for a commission of just 5% of the sale price of the penny, Calvin began to think that selling the coin might be a good idea. He was still a little confused about how the sale would work and what Billy would do to make sure that the penny would be sold for the best price. Calvin told Billy that he thought that the penny was worth almost $100,000, but Billy assured Calvin that the market had changed recently, and that the penny was now worth $40,000 to $45,000. Eventually, Calvin allowed Billy to sell the penny for the best price he could get and to take a 5% commission for arranging the sale of the penny. Billy then sold the penny to a friend for $40,000, took his 5% commission, and paid the remainder of the sale price to Calvin.
A few months later, as Calvin continued to recover, he read a story in a coin collecting magazine about how an uncirculated, mint condition, 1943 Lincoln penny made of copper had just sold at auction for more than $100,000, and Calvin began to wonder if Billy had taken advantage of him. Calvin consulted a lawyer and asked the two questions below.
Exhibit 11-1 (See Exhibit Attachment) explains the relevant considerations for mental incapacity. Based on the facts presented, did Calvin have the mental capacity to enter into the contract when he agreed to let Billy sell the penny?
(See Undue Influence Attachement) The textbook poses four questions to analyze when determining undue influence. Based on the facts presented, did Billy exert undue influence over Calvin to cause Calvin to enter into the contract that allowed Billy to sell the penny?
Must include at least two sources. Be sure to use APA formatting for all citations and references. -

“Creating Change: Using Digital Media to Inspire Effective Problem Solving in Your Community”
CM220M5-1: Develop strategies
for effective problem solving using digital media.
Assessment Introduction and Instructions: For
the Module 5 Assessment, you will design a slide presentation, video, or other
approved digital media format using the ideas from your Module 4 persuasive
essay. The purpose is to share your argument for change with your community,
inspiring your audience to change how they think about the topic.
Develop
a digital media presentation that is designed to have a strong impact on the
audience by revising the essay you submitted in Module 4. Your digital media
presentation is not necessarily testing your design skills, though you should
certainly try to practice the design suggestions provided in the Writing Center
resources. More importantly, you are practicing your composition skills by
applying persuasive strategies in a new context with visual media. You will
demonstrate visual rhetoric skills by combining text and images to compel your
audience to recognize the importance of your argument for change.
Your presentation will need to include
the following:
Title slide (for a slide presentation) or opening credits (for a
video).
A clear argument for change in your community (the one you have been
writing about throughout the course).
Your thesis statement.
A minimum of 8–10 slides (slide presentation, not including the
title and references slide) or approximately a 5- to 7-minute (video).
Research from at least four credible sources to support the main
message. These can be sources from your essay.
Minimally, two information-oriented visuals like a chart, diagram,
or infographic to represent key information in your argument.
3–4 photos or relevant clip art.
A visually engaging design template that reinforces the overall
theme of the presentation.
Demonstration of the design principles from the Module 5 readings,
such as trimming text and using a color scheme.
A concluding slide with a closing technique, such as a call to
action.
Reference slide (for a slide presentation) or an attached Word
document (for a video).
I’m including the Module 4 essay. As well as the Module 5 checklist, competency instructions and an example. I am just doing powerpoint for this one even though it gives the option to do a video. -
Title: “The Power of Storytelling in Business Communication: A Tale of Success and Inspiration”
Narrative techniques can be an effective way to organize messages in many business communication situations, from recruiting and training employees to enticing investors and customers.
You’ve been telling stories all your life; now it’s just a matter of adapting those techniques to business situations.
Examples:
Television commercials and other advertisements
Career-related stories to entice talented people to join a firm
Stories to help investors see how an entrepreneur’s new ideas have the potential to affect people’s lives (and therefore generate lots of sales)
Cautionary tales
Stories can
Help readers and listeners imagine themselves living through the experience of the person in the story
“Put knowledge into a framework that is more lifelike, more true to our day-to-day existence” (Chip Heath and Dan Heath)
Demonstrate cause-and-effect relationships in a compelling fashion
A classic story has three basic parts:
The beginning of the story presents someone with whom the audience can identify in some way, and this person has a dream to pursue or a problem to solve.
The middle of the story shows this character taking action and making decisions as he or she pursues the goal or tries to solve the problem.
The end of the story resolves the “hero’s” quest and usually offers a lesson to be learned about the outcome as well.
By the way, even though these are “stories,” these must not be made-up tales.
Consider adding an element of storytelling whenever your main idea involves the opportunity to
Inspire
Persuade
Teach
Warn
In addition to its important communication function, storytelling can also serve as a means of strategic business analysis.
Your assignment is to tell a story to us the readers following the outline is given above. You have two options you can record it via with your phone or computer to actually tell the story to us via video or you can write out the story as if you do not have a video option to use you can write the story out. Since this is a story I will not require this assignment to be in APA format but I do expect good well written academic writing. Make sure to spell check your documents and review for errors. I am not giving a specific length of time for the video or a length for the written story but please make sure this is a good well thought out story that integrates into the format for storytelling. Most of all have fun and be creative great storytellers can reach large audiences. -
“The Impact of Christian Worldview on Relationships and Careers: A Personal Reflection”
An individual Christian Worldview paper (5–8 pages due in Unit Five) will be written addressing how
our worldview shapes and filters our concepts, thoughts, beliefs and actions dealing with our
relationships and our careers. Include insights on the influence of worldview in what we value, how we
make decisions, how we formulate strategies, and what we consider as acceptable options for action.
Development of this paper should begin with the first class. An informal discussion about the students’
thoughts will be led by the instructor each week (Units One–Six). See Appendix B for more detailed
