Assessment Description
In many instances, it may be necessary to advertise your group as a method to draw in new members. For this assignment, you need to develop a trifold brochure  that will “sell” your group as indicated in Group Design Part One to the public. Include the following in your trifold brochure: 
•    Topic or focus of the group
•    Group meeting details (location, time, dates, length of sessions, etc.)
•    Client characteristics that are specific to the group. For example, how will someone reading the brochure know who would benefit or fit in the group?
•    Duration of treatment
•    Overall goals of the group
Please note that if any scholarly sources are used for this assignment, include in-text citations and a reference section in APA format at the end of the brochure.
The brochure should be written to apply to a wide variety of people as it should be available in various locations around your community (e.g., schools, doctor’s offices, human services offices, restaurants, agencies serving the population of the group). Complete this assignment in Microsoft Word.
To design your brochure, use the templates in Microsoft Office Publisher or any alternative word processing program. Devise a translational research study proposal using the
template attached. Include the following:
Summarize
the existing literature related to your research topic including both the EAB
and applied literature citing specific gaps and how the specified theory
can inform interventions that fill them.
Research
Problem: Clearly state the research problem or question that your study
aims to address.
Significance:
Explain the significance of your research, including the potential
contributions to theory, practice, or policy in behavior analysis.
Research
Objectives: Clearly state the specific objectives of your research. What
do you aim to achieve through this study? Ensure that your objectives are
specific, measurable, achievable, relevant, and time-bound (SMART).
Research
Question(s): Clearly state the research question(s) that will guide your
study. Ensure they are aligned directly to the research objectives you
discussed in the previous section.
Variables:
Operationally define your Independent and Dependent Variables. 
Describe
the research design you will use and explain why it is appropriate for
addressing your research questions. Remember that you must use a single
subject method for this analysis. Group design, correlational
research, or qualitative studies will not be accepted.
Participant
and Sampling Methods: Provide information about the target population for
your study, including relevant characteristics and sampling methods.
Include specific inclusion and exclusion criteria.
Measures,
Data Aggregation, and Visual Inspection: Describe the measurement system
you will use in the study including the relevant dimension(s) of the
dependent variable. Discuss how the data will be collected, how it will
be aggregated, and the type of graph you will use to visually inspect the
data. Finalize this section with a discussion of how you will evaluate
the validity and reliability of the data.
Outline the
step-by-step procedures you will follow to conduct your research. This
should be a task analysis that a research assistant could use to guide
their implementation if you were not there to provide assistance. This can
be written as a narrative, but you may find that creating a numerical list
would likely be easier.
Discuss
any potential ethical issues associated with your research and how you
will address them.
Explain
how you will ensure the confidentiality and anonymity of participants,
obtain informed consent, and comply with relevant ethical guidelines and
regulations.
Make
sure to cite specific alignments from The Belmont Report, and the BACB
Ethical Code of Conduct.
Provide
a timeline that outlines the various stages of your research, including
data collection, data analysis, and completion of the final report or

based on your research questions or hypotheses?
Identify potential limitations or constraints
that may affect the validity or generalizability of your findings.

you will be practicing some data collection procedures using videos of problem behaviors. First, review the Behavior Assessment: Duration and Latency Recording activity. You may choose to print out the recording forms provided in the activity (pages 4 and 5) or create your own using a similar format. Be sure to review the operational definition of the target behavior provided on each form. Then, watch the Behavior: Duration and Latency Recording and collect duration data on the target behavior defined on the Duration Recording Form. Finally, you will view the video once again, and collect latency data on the target behavior defined on the Latency Recording Form.
Please respond to the following:
Discuss the findings of your data collection experience. What was the total duration of time off task and calculate the percentage of time off task for this session? What was the average latency recorded for this student to begin working independently following a teacher instruction?
Based on your observation and data, how would you report the intensity or magnitude of this student’s off-task behavior?

Behavior: Duration and Latency Recording

The reading from our first two weeks of class in Cultural Engagement: A Crash Course in Contemporary Issues, covered a wide range of contemporary issues including sexuality, gender roles, abortion, reproductive technology, immigration, race, climate change, animal welfare, and politics. As you begin working on your Personal Culture and Worldview Paper Assignment, you will be examining and articulating your cultural identity in specific areas for that assignment. For this discussion, focus on defining what hospitality and identity confusion mean to you. In addition to citing and referencing authors from Cultural Engagement, include your faith in this discussion. Identity confusion was referred to in Strachan’s (2019) essay on women and work; however, you can apply this concept to any of the issues from our reading.
Dong and Lowe (2019) discuss hospitality in their essay on immigration. Aim to further explore this concept of hospitality by thinking about what this means to you in working with people who are different than you. What action steps or goals can you identify in pursuing biblical hospitality (see Romans 12:13 and Hebrews 13:2, for example)? Do not use subheadings. Write one paragraph on identity confusion and one paragraph on hospitality.

After reading Chapter 2 in the Sternad (2021 text), review the questions asked on pages 44-46 and reflect on a specific personal or professional situation that you can apply to the ABCDE coaching model. Use the questions in the exercise on page 46 to guide your reflection. Write out your responses to Step 1 and Step 2 in your original post and then describe the benefits of this approach in addressing your described conflict

Essay Format/ Guidelines
The essay should be between 500-600 words in length.
The font style should be Times New Roman, and the font size should be 12.
Paraphrase your information using your own words.

Presentation Prompt
Analyze a cultural practice or representation from the U.S. culture that illustrates cultural fusion and hybridity.
Instructions
Topics include food, dance, music, art, literature, architecture, YouTube/internet, film and television, language, festivals, fashion, or sports (you can also do a topic not on this list related to culture.)
Your analysis should be historical. You want to trace the evolution of cultural hybridity over time.
This is an in-class presentation only.
For your presentation, each student will want to have a central argument about how your topic illustrates cultural fusion, and provide examples from your research to support your argument.
There are several formats you can use. You can create a PowerPoint slide show, in which each member contributes slides, or you can create a video using the “Studio” link on the left-hand side navigation bar.
Find an article, book, or website about how your topic illustrates cultural fusion and hybridity using the LACC library databasesor websites with .org or .edu extensions. For example, if you are in the music group, you could research how rock music is influenced by different cultures, like blues and country music. Or if you are in the sports group, you might want to look at how the NBA is influenced by the recruitment of players from other cultures than the United States. Break your topic down into separate examples, with each group member focusing on one example.
