  • Excitation of the Skeletal Muscle Fiber Introduction to the Neuromuscular Junction and the Excitation of Skeletal Muscle Fiber

Excitation of the Skeletal Muscle Fiber
Skeletal muscle fiber contraction begins with
excitation of the fiber by a somatic motor neuron. The nerve signal must first cross the neuromuscular junction to excite the muscle fiber. Excitation depends on a complex sequence of events that is reviewed in Chapter 10 of your textbook. This week’s assignment will give you practice describing these events.
Begin your paper with a description of the neuromuscular junction. What are the main structural features of the motor neuron and skeletal muscle fiber where the two meet? Then address the following topics:
Starting with an action potential traveling down the axon of the motor neuron, how is the signal transmitted across the synaptic cleft to the muscle fiber?
How is an End Plate Potential generated?
How is an action potential initiated and propagated to the sarcoplasmic reticulum?
What happens at the sarcoplasmic reticulum that leads to a contraction?
How does the structure of a skeletal muscle fiber enable contraction to occur?
    Requirements:
Your paper should be 2 pages in length, excluding title and reference pages.
Include at least two scholarly references, in addition to the course textbook. Also cite your sources in the body of the paper.
Conform to the APA guidelines in the CSU Global Writing Center.
The CSU Global Library is a good place to find these references.

Some of these diseases affect other organ systems as well; please mention these systems but mostly focus on their effects on the homeostatic effects since that is this module’s topic.

  • Request for Grade Consideration in Anatomy and Physiology 2

hello, i am taking anatomy and physiology 2 and i need a B or higher to pass this class but unfortunately i took my final today and got an F which brought me down to a 77%, i was wondering if you could write an email for my profesor and let her know that i really did try and i need my B and higher to get into my program this fall ( this class is the only one i need to get into it) if there’s anything i can do to but if not well i understand but it was worth a try.

  • “Understanding Bursitis: Causes, Symptoms, and Management”

I need a pathophysiology paper done on bursitis. I will have to submit the final draft through a plagiarism website to be checked before submission. This is for my anatomy and physiology class. It must have intext citations as well as references to match. I will do my own title page so the 5-6 pages need to be the actual content and the last page is for the reference page. Thanks

  • “Exploring the Effects of Exercise on Brain Function: A Review of Current Research”

Guidelines for Writing the Scientific Journal Article Report
Goal: The goal of this assignment is for you to research a topic of interest to you that has to do with the human body. This topic could be about human anatomy, exercise physiology, physiology, pathophysiology, or medicine. You’ll have to do a library research of the topic and then find a primary research article that you could summarize using the following format.

In this section, you should summarize the objectives, the methods and materials used, and the findings of the paper.
    3. Discussion:  1-2 pages
Discuss the importance of the findings in the article to the science that it deals with (anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology, medicine, nursing, etc.) Compare the results with similar research in this particular field of investigation. Evaluate the research done in the article using two other sources. Give your opinion as to the merits (or lack of) of this research. Elaborate on the future of such research and the direction it might take.
Cite reference articles and list the sources in the bibliography section at the end.
    4. Bibliography Page:
Use at least 2 sources of reference. If you cite someone you must include him/her in the bibliography.
Bibliography format: Author (last name, first initials), “title of article”, title of magazine or journal, book or periodical (underlined), date, volume, number, page numbers. If the article(s) is(are) from a website, be sure to include a live hyperlink to the article(s).
Article(s) must be from 2012 or later. No articles from Encyclopedias.
Select a paper on a topic that is directly or indirectly related to human anatomy. Attach a copy of the article to your report or a weblink to the report if available .
Article review must be typed. Allow one-inch margins everywhere. Typing must be done using 12 pt. font and 1.5 line spacing.
