  • Title: First Draft of Methods and Results Sections

For this assignment, you will submit a first draft of your Methods and Results sections. Use the critical elements from the Milestone Four Guidelines and Rubric as subheadings to reduce the possibility of missing an element.
Now that you have completed your data collection, be sure to revise your Methods section so it accurately reflects the participants, materials, and methodological procedures your study uses.
In your Results section, first describe how you reduced your raw data for analysis (that is, how your questionnaires were summed or averaged to get a composite score to analyze). Your results section should also include a table of the relevant descriiptive statistics, along with a narrative explanation of the descriiptive statistics. You will need to then describe the statistical test that you chose to run and explain the findings for the test. Be sure to follow APA manuscriipt standards when writing this section. Please refer to Chapters 2, 3, 5, and 7 of your APA manual for further instructions on how best to write a Methods and a Results section.
    -Methods
Outline the study participants. How many participants were there, and how were they recruited?
Describe the materials (surveys, etc.) you created for the study and how they specifically address the research question. Also, consider how the materials appropriately consider the participants.
Describe the methodological procedures used to collect the data. How were the materials used to collect the data?
    -Results
Describe how your raw data was reduced for statistical analysis, clearly detailing each step.
Create a table outlining the descriiptive statistics for your key variables.
Describe the statistical test you selected, and explain why this test is the most appropriate for analyzing your data compared to other tests you could have used (including why other tests were inappropriate for analyzing the data).
Communicate your research findings in a professional way, as outlined by the American Psychological Association’s study standards.

  • Self-Reflection on Conflict Management Self-Reflection on Conflict Management Throughout this course, I have gained valuable knowledge and skills on how to effectively manage conflicts. One of the concepts that impacted me the most was understanding the different conflict styles and how they

As we close the course, the M8.3 discussion will focus on a self-reflection about what you learned from the course. In module one of the course, you participated in an activity to determine your conflict management style. Although it is not perfect, it gave you an idea of how you approach conflict.
For this discussion, reflect on what you learned in the course and discuss how your learning experience may help you manage conflict in the future. For this activity, you will have to base your reflection in the concepts from the course and not just on Module 8. In short, provide the take away from the course. Explain the skills you intend to use and describe how the new knowledge will help you in the future.
For this activity address the following:
Define and explain the concepts that impacted you the most.
Explain how you use the knowledge and skills from the course in future conflict situations.

Explain a current issue for your research. (Note the approved list of topics. You may select one of these, or select one of your own. Note your instructor must approve your issue to be addressed in your Final Research Paper.)
Explain the issues, threats, or hazards that are affecting the resolution of the vulnerabilities. Identify any constitutional issues in play.
    Week 2:
Begin your research for your Final Research Paper. It is recommended that you start your research by identifying a Research Starter for your topic in the University of Arizona Global Campus Library.
Note the “Research Starter” should address the common issues for the topic. Note the bibliography is a good place to identify additional resources for your paper. This should set you up for success in writing your Final Research Paper.
    Week 3:
Finalize your six credible references. Note two of these must be scholarly and found in the University of Arizona Global Campus Library.
Sketch out the outline for your Final Research Paper.
    Week 4:

Describe the various roles and responsibilities of the various levels of government with respect to the issue under review.
Explain your personal position on how the Department of Homeland Security should address vulnerability using mitigation, prevention, and preparedness techniques.
The topics within the Approved Research Paper Topics Download Approved Research Paper Topics document represent a few of the challenges the United States faces in homeland security and its impact on American society. The paper must demonstrate an understanding of the topic through a review of literature, analysis of specific incidents or events, and evaluation of mitigation strategies. The final section of the paper must include your position on how the Department of Homeland Security should resolve this issue. The topics for this assignment may be addressed from the federal, state, or local government, private sector, or non-government agency perspective.

  • Title: Analyzing Intergenerational Dynamics in the Salam Family: A Bowenian Perspective Interventions for Developing Healthy Interactional Patterns in a Dysfunctional Family: A Therapist’s Perspective

This Signature Assignment fulfills mastery for the MA MFT & MA MFPC PLO 1- Knowledge: Students will analyze therapeutic problems and
challenges of clients using systemic theories.
As you have learned through this course, the work of Bowen has helped therapists in the field of marriage and family therapy to clinically analyze
and conceptualize intergenerational patterns of behavioral disruption found in families. Such patterns have been the underlying source of
maladaptive behaviors displayed as individuals while interacting with their families. This assignment challenges you to draw from your readings
and your research on this subject (6 minimum peer reviewed journal articles) to create a 12 to 15-page paper double spaced (not
including cover page and references) about Bowen’s family systems therapy. By examining the relational dynamics, intergenerational influences,
levels of differentiation per member of the family, and articulating the presence of triangles, you will be better prepared to utilize this theory
while working with clients in the future. Please review the video clip (more than once) and address all items identified below under the
    assignment section in your paper.
Watch the video clip from the movie My Happy Family. https://www.kaltura.com/index.php/extwidget/preview/partner_id/2406131/uiconf_id/42692362/entry_id/0_5nnwqici/embed/dynamic?
As you view the video clip, assume that you are working with the family in therapy utilizing the Bowenian model of treatment. What is displayed
before you, is exactly what your client family is sharing with you in a therapy session. Be sure not to miss the nonverbal cues. As you write your
paper, please use the identifiers below to represent each member of the family.
    The Salam Family:
    A. Manana is the mother
    B. Soso is the father
    C. Lamar is the maternal grandmother (Manana’s Mother)
    D. Otar is the maternal grandfather (Manana’s Father)
    E. Nina is the daughter
    F. Bakko is the daughter’s husband
    G. Nasha is the son
    H. Rezo is Manana’s brother (the uncle)
    I. Mary is Manana’s aunt
    J. Katino is Manana’s aunt
    Paper Outline
    Introduction:
    ● In this section you should clearly introduce your paper and share what you plan to address in the pages ahead.
    Bowen’s Theory:
    ● In this section, fully demonstrate your understanding of the Bowenian model of treatment and how it may be used to analyze
therapeutic problems and client challenges. Be sure to address and analyze the role of anxiety, intergenerational anxiety, and how
changes are brought about while using the theory. It is also important that you articulate the eight interlocking concepts of the theory
and begin to evaluate and analyze the relational dynamics projected by the Salam family. Please do not forget to cite your sources.
    Genogram
    ● In the section, please construct a genogram and develop a minimum of two paragraphs analyzing the intergenerational dynamics
portrayed by the Salam family. Please do not forget to cite your sources
    Relational Dynamics:
    ● In this section, please analyze and articulate the presented relational dynamics displayed by the Salam family. Be sure to include triangles
(no less than 3), emotional cutoff, fusion, and differentiation of self (differentiation and the level of differentiation per family member.
and share how the differentiation levels are influenced by 3 intergenerational transmissions) amongst other relational dynamics. Please
do not forget to cite your sources.
    Conceptualization:
    ● In this section of the paper please offer a clear clinical conceptualization that highlights your ability to analyze and interpret the
presented behaviors and interactional challenges. The language of the theory must be used in this section. Please do not forget to cite
    your sources.
    Treatment Plan:
    ● In the section of the paper please address your treatment plan for the family and how you would apply systemic/relational techniques.
The section must include all three stages of treatment along with relevant interventions you would employ as the therapist to help the
family develop different interactional patterns. Please do not forget to cite your sources and do not use bullet points to cover this
    section.
    Conclusion:
    ● Summarize what you presented in the previous pages and draw a summative conclusion.

  • Title: The Flint Water Crisis: An Analysis of Organizational Involvement and Community Impact

As you analyze the case, think about all of the organizations involved and if those organizations are government, nonprofit or businesses.
Start your write up by summarizing the problem presented in the case and who is involved in the case (both individuals and organizations).  Then summarize the issue from an organizational/community perspective.
Your analysis should answer the following questions:
What role did each organization play in creating the crisis and ultimately helping to address the crisis?
How were both problems and solutions impacted by civic engagement/social capital of the residents?
How did governance issues impact both the creation and resolution of the crisis?
In what ways did the crisis fit the definition of a wicked problem as defined by your reading?   In what ways did it not fit this definition?
How did the case evolve differently than you would have expected?  What issues do you think will be on-going in Flint as they continue to recover?
How does this case relate to at least 4 of readings that you have complete thus far in the course?
Make sure to cite no  less than 4 of the readings from the course to formulate and support your write up.  Your references should be done using the APA style
