As you review your paper, check to make sure that:
The problem statement is framed in an open–ended way, with empirical questions so open that your study helps to answer them.
Research questions are strong, answerable, and match your research study design and methodology (the case study, which is the design portion of the qualitative method).
All proposed questions have associated data collection strategies.
You have provided a clear description of your sampling criteria without too many disparate variables; it should be clear who is being interviewed, and why!
You provide a thorough discussion of your analytic process, which is qualitative in nature, further explaining how the data was collected and then interpreted.
Before completing your research paper, review an example of an APA paper on the OCLS APA Style page.

Title: “Gothic Cathedral Community Center: Combining History and Modern Needs”
Style chosen is (Gothic cathedral )
Brainstorm an original idea for an architectural project.
Which architectural style (or which two architectural styles) do you prefer out of all of the options, and why you chose it/them?
Discuss an original idea for a type of building or structure in your chosen style which serves a need in the community.
What is a need you know about in your community?
The need could be for basic necessities, such as food, shelter, health care, transportation, etc.; it could also be for other important needs such as green space, arts, literature, education, socializing, recreation, etc.
Who is the main constituency (group of people – or perhaps domestic animals or wildlife) that your architectural design is designed for, and why did you decide on this constituency?
How will you incorporate your chosen architectural style into your design, and why do you think your chosen architectural style works well with the community need your design addresses?
Where you would create your architectural design, generally (center of a city, suburban area, rural area, park?).
Specify details of your architectural design (building(s), outdoor structure(s), a combination of both), and reflect on why you decided on this design.
What materials will you use in your building(s)/structure(s)?
Will you prioritize locating/using sustainable materials/energy in your project? If so, why and how?
What will your building(s)/structure(s) look like, generally (its appearance)?
Exterior: How many stories? What are the main exterior details? Will the relationship to nature be important? If so, how?
Interior: Will your building(s)/structure(s) be accessible to people of various abilities? If so, how? Do you envision an open plan or many smaller spaces? What about colors? Lighting? Will the relationship to nature be important? If so, how?
Conclude with a reflection on how your design (exterior and interior) addresses the community need you identified. -

Message: Social responsibility is a framework of ethics in which an individual collaborates and works with other organizations and individuals for the betterment of the community. There are numerous ways in which an organization can exhibit social responsibility; for instance, by promoting volunteerism, facilitating donations, employing ethical employment practices, and implementing environmental improvements. It introduces the subjective obligation that entails maintaining a delicate equilibrium between one’s ecosystem and the economy, as well as the potential compromises that may be made between economic progress and societal and environmental wellbeing. This transcends business organizations and affects all individuals whose actions influence the environment.
Solve the following questions using Excel QM. (2×4 = 8 marks)
1. Helping others through blood donation is a form of social solidarity or social responsibility. The blood donors cite a sense of social responsibility as their reason for donating blood, and as a result, the communities value and reward this activity. The following table shows the number of blood donors in a university from 2011–2023. Develop a 3-year moving average forecast and obtain the related statistical measures using excel QM. year Blood Donors

Solution:
2. University X has a unique on-campus dispensary that provides medical care. On a typical working day, patients arrive at the dispensary at an average rate of 2 patients per hour. There is one single nurse at the dispensary, and the average time required to give a consultation is 12 minutes.
It is assumed that the service times can be described by the exponential distribution, and the arrival process by a Poisson distribution. You are requested to find:
a. The average time in line,
b. The average number of patients in line,
c. The average time in the system,
d. The average number of patients in the system,
e. The probability that the dispensary is empty,
f. The utilization factor of the system.
Solution:
3. Assume that you are a statistical consultant and want to provide a volunteer consultation to a start-up company as a social responsibility consultation. The company is planning to purchase a uniform outfit for their employees, and they obtained the following quantity discount table with three discount options:
DISCOUNT NUMBER DISCOUNT QUANTITY DISCOUNT COST (SAR)
1 0 to 49 100
2 50 to 99 90
3 100 and over 85
Annual demand is 400 outfits, ordering cost is 50, and holding cost is 25% of the cost of the outfit. Use Excel QM to find the discount option with the minimum total cost.
Solution: 4. To help needy people through charity is a form of social responsibility. The act of doing charity to help others is recognized and rewarded by all communities of the society. The following table shows the amount collected through charity and the amount spent on social development (in million dollars) in the last 8 years. Find the correlation and coefficient of determination for the given data and obtain the related statistical measures using excel QM.

“Promoting an Open Therapeutic Environment: Addressing Differences in Values and Beliefs in Counseling”
Stephen Wood

Good post. Promoting an open and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment can help deter counselors from expressing their values to a client, which can lead to discrimination and imposition in the therapeutic relationship (Corey, Corey & Corey, 2019). Actions a counselor might take when confronted with clients they find difficult to treat due to differences in values/beliefs on abortion, for example, are to explore this issue from a legal perspective. Especially since this is an emotionally charged topic, mental health professionals must be sensitive, knowledgeable and familiar with legal requirements from state to state and even to consult an attorney when needed. Laws, regulations, and policies on parental consent vary widely on clients considering an abortion, especially if they are minors. Reference

“Exploring Theories of Living Well: Evaluating Philosophers and Applying Concepts to Personal Struggles”
Word Count – 2000 words maximum
This semester we have examined various theories about how to live well, that fall on one side or the other of the basic distinction between change and stability that we have been examining all semester. They are:
Changing/Relative Stability Unchanging/Absolute Stability
Skeptical Socrates’ questioning everything Plato’s Socrates’ search for Eternal Forms
Epicurus’ right pleasures Stoic Logos
Buddha’s theory of non-attachment Taoist harmony
For the first part of your final paper, you will be evaluating philosophers from the book Words of Wisdom Download Words of Wisdomand where they fall in the categories above. The book has 7 parts. Take one thinker from each part (other than the ones we examined in class) and defend which side of these categories they are on by giving evidence for their positions from the book.
For the second part of the paper you will pick two of the theories of living well from the above list, one from each side, and examine them by applying them to a struggle that you are having in your own life. To provide a context for your paper, read the excerpt from Viktor Frankl about the finding meaning in life and the article by Stephen Law called “The Meaning of Life,” both on Canvas.
When you successfully complete this paper you will have shown that you can:
Explain how several philosophers fall on the change/stability axis
Explain the theory of how to live well for two of the theories we have studied
Understand the relevance of those theories and the concepts of change and stability for struggles in our lives today
Describe clearly a current personal struggle that you have
Analyze how those two theories can be applied to your struggle
Determine how well those theories would work to overcome the struggle
Defend a position about which one is more effective in dealing with the struggle
Make sure that you do the following:
Clearly explain two theories about how to live well, one from each side of the relative/absolute line.
Provide details about how you need to think about how you think is the best way to think about the world and what concepts are important to living well
Clearly describe a personal struggle with which you are currently dealing
Explain all the parts of the struggle that are relevant to finding a solution
Apply each theory to your struggle so you have explained two different ways of dealing with the struggle
Explain how well you think each theory would work to solve the struggle
Explain the limits of these theories – that is, why would they not work completely? -
