I need 8 pages of writing. I have the cover page and the references page I can do myself; I
just need the references.
Purpose
At this point, you have spent significant time reading about your topic and considering your position in its conversation. The goal of this paper is to take a position on an arguable issue relevant to your research topic, to explain various points of view, and to support your position with evidence from research.
What is an Argument Paper?
Like the first two papers we’ve written, this paper should also supported by researched evidence and reasoning that is carefully explained for your audience. And like those two papers, you should still consider other perspectives that might conflict with or challenge your own.
But here’s what’s different: instead of simply describing the different viewpoints in the conversation around your topic you will tell your audience which viewpoint you think is most valuable—and why! Your position in the conversation will be the focal point of your paper.
Although we sometimes think of arguments as pro/con debates, they are actually rich, active, and ongoing conversations that involve multiple (i.e., more than two!) viewpoints. As well, you will likely find you don’t always agree or disagree entirely with any one position—you may agree with some aspects of someone’s position but disagree with some of their claims or their method/approach. Don’t be afraid to let your position reflect that kind of nuance.
More information about Arguments can be found in the Little Seagull Handbook (chapter W-7)
Organizing the Argument Paper
Introduction: provide a brief background of the issue, introduce your thesis/stance, and review supporting claims (evidence from your research and/or supporting reasoning).
Supporting claims: you will likely find it most useful to use separate paragraphs for each claim you introduce. In each paragraph, you should (1) explain the claim, (2) support it with evidence, (3) discuss opposing views/problems/complications, and (4) respond to those opposing views.
Other opposing views: after you have discussed your supporting claims (the bulk of the paper!), briefly introduce any remaining opposing views and respond to (refute) them.
Conclusion: Restate your thesis and main reasons you have taken your stance. Remind your readers why your stance is beneficial/valuable (answer the “so, what?”). Finally, discuss future implications (“what’s next? Where does this go in the future?”).
Requirements
At least 8 pages (double-spaced, 12pt font, 1” margins)
Thesis that takes a position on an arguable issue, supported throughout with researched evidence and reasoning
Addresses alternate or opposing viewpoints

“Strategic Considerations for the US Government’s Debt Issuance in Response to Financial Crises”
In early 2020, the United States government had more than $23 trillion in debt (approximately $80,000 for every U.S. citizen) outstanding in the form of Treasury bills, notes, and bonds. That number is now growing due to the current coronavirus situation to over $30 trillion. From time to time, the Treasury changes the mix of securities that it issues to finance government debt, issuing more bills than bonds or vice versa.
With short-term interest rates near 0 percent right now in the middle of 2020, and still very very low, historically today, suppose the Treasury decided to replace maturing notes and bonds by issuing new Treasury bills, thus greatly shortening the average maturity of U.S. debt outstanding. Discuss the pros and cons of this strategy.
Introduction of DQ3
This is a very real-life question that our Government has been facing since the financial crisis of 2007-2008 and again now with the coronavirus in 2020. With interest rates falling after both crises to historical lows, which they are still by and large at today but will begin rising slowly again, the Government has a tough decision, especially with regards to the old debt it issued at higher interest rates to finance the Government. Refinance that debt? If so, for how long of a period of time and at what rate of interest are buyers willing to go out when buying the new Government T-bills, bonds, etc.?
Reminder: Depth and Breadth of Your Responses
I find that Google searches are a great place to find a reference(s) for postings in addition to the course textbook.
In addition to the course textbook, it is sometimes a good idea to get another angle on a DQ like this one.
A reminder that your DQ postings should have some depth, breadth, and length to them, especially those made on Sunday nights before the DQ responses end. Well-written DQ postings are also very much appreciated. -
“The Road to Civil War: Exploring the Political, Economic, and Social Tensions in America from 1788 to 1877”
Almost immediately after winning independence from Great Britain, the United States was
plagued by philosophical, economic, and sectional differences that ultimately led to the Civil
War. Your assignment is to write a 750-1,500 word essay that examines and explains the
political, economic, and social tensions prevalent in American society from the ratification of
the Constitution in 1788 to the end of Reconstruction in 1877. Be sure to explain how these
tensions led to war and how the Civil War and Reconstruction did or did not resolve these
tensions.
Please discuss all the following topics: republicanism, federalism vs. states’ rights, the political
parties and their differences, the market economy vs. semi-subsistence economy, manifest
destiny, westward expansion of slavery, the Civil War, and Reconstruction.
Be sure to include specific details to explain these topics. Do not copy and past your notes on
these topics. Instead, develop an essay that discusses how these topics are interrelated and
ultimately led to the Civil War. Write this essay using only the notes I attached, if outside sources are used make sure to cite them. -

I have this assignent of a 10 page research essay due for monday. This are the instructions. I was also thinking in including some statistics about actual tuition rates. I also wanted to add a counterclaim and rebutte the counterclaim.
Instructions:
“While this essay will likely present both sides of the topic, you want to ultimately pick a side and opposing views can be used as counterargument points. This paper should be your argument about an issue concerning your topic; the sources are going to support or refute your argument, so don’t let the sources take over your paper and push your voice to the margins. You must choose a topic to which you are personally engaged.
• All essays must be typed using a standard font and follow MLA formatting.
• Integrate a minimum of eight reliable, supportive sources into your analysis. Remember to include the in-text citations and the Works Cited/Reference Page citations. Of the eight reliable sources, a minimum of four of these need to be scholarly/peer-reviewed.
• The use of evidence logically and effectively supports claims. Smooth integration of at least eight reliable sources. Of those eight sources, four need to also be scholarly (peer-reviewed) sources.
• Include an original title”
I made an outline, but didn’t finish it, I’ll upload the file. It doesn’t have to be like that, it was just an idea for the essay. Hope you can help me I would appreciate so much!! -

The Reciprocal Influence of the Situation and the Individual: Exploring Social Psychology through Personal Images
A central theme in social psychology is the reciprocal influence of the situation and the individual. How is this evident in your life?
Prior to beginning work on this discussion forum, read Chapter 1 and Chapter 9 of the textbook, Body Ritual Among the Nacirema, and watch The Power of the Situation and Constructing Social Reality. Then, complete the following:
Define social psychology.
Select 10 images that are meaningful to you. Though these can be images of people, aim to capture a variety of images that illustrate ideas or emotions (e.g., truth, love, happiness, hope, honor, etc.), as well as places, events, and objects. Ideally, these will be your own photographs, but if you instead choose images online you must provide appropriate citations. (For free images visit Pexels.) Display your chosen images. You may choose to present the images in a collage, PowerPoint slide show, or other format.
Interpret your selected images based on your definition of social psychology as a science, specifically the power of the situation (including cultural patterns across space and time) and the construction of social reality. How do these photos—or your interpretation of them—illustrate social thinking, social influence, or social relations?
Write a paragraph describing your selection from an outsider’s perspective, considering why it is important to practice seeing the world through an objective lens from a personal and professional perspective.
Your initial post should include your selected images (10 minimum) as well as an explanation and analysis (500-word minimum). Structure your post using complete Body Paragraphs, and consider using headings to organize the various required components of the prompt. (See APA Style Elements for guidelines regarding the use of headings in your writing.) Your initial post should reference, at minimum, the required resources, including the textbook. Additional Scholarly, Peer Reviewed, and Other Credible Sources are encouraged.

“Dracula: A Modern Epistolary Tale”
Your project: to develop a modern version of the epistolary concept
Tell part of the Dracula story through some form of modern communication/media/technology, or a combination of these. For example:
letters
graphic novel concept
Tweets
Instagram pictures
snapchat
Facebook posts
Blog/vlog
Emails
work of art
film
Use what you’re good at. If you’re an artist, you might make it a graphic novel. If you like social media, use of those. If you’re traditional, keep it truly epistolary, and write letters. There are fake facebook/instagram generators out there you can use, so you don’t have to create actual accounts.
Choose one scene from Dracula and present a modern version of that scene. NOTE: you may not choose Chs. 1-4!
Be sure to include the perspectives of various characters. Feel free to modernize the characters to suit the modern media, if you wish.
Be creative, have fun, push the lmits of the form you use.
Your final presentation must be uploaded to the discussion board. Use PowerPoint.
I am attaching an example of what a good project might look like. There are lots of ways to approach the project so yours may be quite different. However, things I’ll point out that are working well here:
1. use of both text and image
2. multiple perspectives (the comments by Dracula, for example)
3. an original, but rich, telling of the events
4. Full use of the chosen media (in this case, Instagram) -
