Arizona’s Senate has casted a ballot to rescind a 1864 regulation restricting early termination, the last significant push in the leftist drove work to eradicate the law from state books.
Two conservatives joined Senate liberals to help the nullification bill, which barely passed the House a week ago.
Lead representative Katie Hobbs, a leftist, hailed the outcome and is expected to formalize the expulsion of the law.
The pre-statehood regulation bars early termination from the snapshot of origination, without any exemptions for assault or interbreeding.
It was resuscitated last month after Arizona’s top court governed the boycott could be implemented following the US High Court’s inversion of Roe v Swim in June 2022, a milestone administering which repealed the cross country right to abortionThe choice released a commotion the nation over, where citizens comprehensively support early termination access and electrifies endeavors to put a fetus removal question on the polling form in November, which would extend freedoms in the state.
Furthermore, for conservatives gazing intently at harvest time decisions, the boycott represented a significant political quandary, with officials got between the party’s moderate base and more moderate swing electors who criticized the pre-Nationwide conflict bill as draconian.
A few driving conservatives including previous President Donald Trump and previous Arizona Lead representative Doug Ducey, limited any association with the law, proposing it was in conflict with the state’s electors.
The nullification bill was passed 16-14 on Wednesday after two Conservatives, Shawnna Bolick and TJ Shope broke positions with their party, casting a ballot yes on the one-line repeal bill.
Both were condemned by their partners, who portrayed their votes as a treachery of “supportive of life” values.”The exemplification of fancy is saying I’m favorable to life yet casting a ballot to nullify an early termination boycott,” said Representative Anthony Kern, who referred to the 1864 regulation as “the best fetus removal boycott in the country”.
Casting a ballot to rescind is “deciding in favor of death”, he said. Mr Kern was one of the phony voters prosecuted last week for his job in a supposed plan to upset the 2020 political race for Donald Trump.
Making sense of her vote, Ms Bolick related her experience getting an early termination during an unviable pregnancy – a choice, she said, that might have been inaccessible under the 1864 regulation, which incorporates exemptions for the existence of the mother.
The early termination “was extremely intense”, she said. “Could Arizona’s pre-Roe regulation have permitted me to have this operation, despite the fact that at the time my life wasn’t in harm’s way?”
Public enemy of early termination activists, as well, denounced the two lawmakers, condemning what they depicted as political cynicism”This outline of flightiness and weakness will be copied the country over by other shrewd conservatives who happily wear the supportive of life cape for giver dollars however betray the development when now is the right time to act,” said Chanel Prunier, VP of political undertakings for against fetus removal bunch Understudies for Life Activity.
In the event that the nullification is endorsed by Lead representative Hobbs, fetus removals in Arizona will be administered by 2022 regulation, which restricts early terminations following 15 weeks of pregnancy with exemptions just in instances of health related crisis. There are no exemptions for assault or interbreeding.
Notwithstanding, that could change in November when Arizonans are supposed to decide on a polling form question that would safeguard early termination access until 24 weeks of pregnancy.
Comparable voting form drives in conservative controlled states since Roe was toppled have all conveyed wins for the favorable to decision development.

“Peer Review: Improving Writing Skills” Peer 1: “The Impact of Social Media on Mental Health” 1. The peer provides adequate background and context for the subject of social media and mental health. They discuss the prevalence of social media in
For this assignment you must review 2 peers rough drafts in 200 words each. Use the questions below to make sure that you cover the multiple facets of a good peer review. You may include further information as well, but use these questions as a guide. Be sure to point out specific instances and examples of what is done well, and what needs improvement.
1. Does your peer provide adequate background and context for the subject that he or she is taking on? Before your peer’s position is made known, do you know enough about the topic that he or she is taking a stance upon?
2. Does you peer follow the Dewey Sequence for problem solving?
3. Is your peer’s thesis statement made clear in 1-2 sentences at the end of the introduction? What is the thesis statement? Does it indicate both the problem and solution? How could it be improved?
4. Are your peer’s body paragraphs unified, coherent and developed? Do they have strong topic sentences and smooth concluding sentences that connect the ideas from one paragraph to the next? Do they provide enough support from the sources he or she has chosen to use? How could your peer improve
his or her body paragraphs?
5. Does your peer effectively use the research of others? Is the research cited and referenced properly? Are the sources credible ones?

Title: Addressing Housing Issues in Los Angeles through Inclusionary Zoning Policies
I already completed first half of the paper. The requirements for the second half is as follows:
The second half of your paper will then consist of you identifying a problem area of housing relevant to the course literature. Pick one area of study from our entire course that you have been writing towards in your syntheses, and decide on a place that you would like to study regarding that issue. This will require some research and background on your part, so do NOT procrastinate on this part of the project. Once settled, then do the following: Explain, in detail, the cause of housing issues or problems in a place of your choice within the context of the topic you are studying ( some examples include, but are not limited to, segregation, development, legal frameworks…etc.). You are free to choose an entire state, a metropolitan area, or even a specific municipality. A brief tip here, the more specific you are about your chosen problem and discussing that literature on causes of said problem, the easier the assignment will be. So, be thorough in your citations. It will make your life and your writing much easier.
Research a solution. This is really the point of the assignment, and probably the section of which you can devote most of your time. In providing your solution, you must choose something that: A) Specifically addresses a solution that may serve in your chosen place, B) Has been used before in another instance somewhere in the world or have been attempted somewhere at some time (another country is fine) C) Have literature and studies done on the solution that you can discuss to argue for your solution. Thus, your proposed solution must address your topic and also not have been created out of thin air. It must be rooted in literature and have studies and/or results that you can discuss. This section of the paper should also discuss how your solution will be tailored to fit your case.
Your thesis statement will be absolutely key to this project and you should spend a considerable amount of time on it. As in: What has the literature of this course led you to identify and why/how does YOUR proposal help solve the problem? A great thesis will give you something to write to, don’t rush it!
I have attached my synthesis and part of the second part that I started in the paper here. Please let me know if you want anything else. I have also provided an outline to follow. I do think 2 pages should be enough but, if not, I will tip you after the work has been completed. BONUS: if you can proofread this paper. -
Title: Exploring Similar Themes and Elements in Oedipus Rex and Other Literary Texts: A Critical Analysis
EGL 1020
Final Paper Assignment: Crafting a Literary Argument
For this paper, you will need to state a position concerning at least two of the texts we have covered in class and situate your argument within the broader conversation of literary criticism. Because you have a variety of texts to choose from, you will need to find two texts that have similar themes or elements to discuss. Choosing two texts that have little in common will not offer a great deal of material for analysis and development. You may find that selecting Oedipus Rex will be helpful because of its length and the abundant material it presents. On the other hand, there is plenty of material in the short stories and poetry to develop a well-reasoned critical essay. If you are having difficulty selecting two texts with similar themes and/or elements, you can approach the texts from one of the critical approaches we covered (feminism, historicism, reader response, Marxist/economic motivations, etc). Using one of these approaches, you should be able to highlight key scenes, sequences, or language from the texts that support your perspective.
Once you have chosen your approach to the paper or topic, you will then need to research criticism about your subject matter and the texts involved. You will need to reference at least 3 different critical essays discussing the texts you have chosen. Your argument will be based not only on your own interpretation as supported by the stories/poems you have chosen, but by literary arguments made by other critics as well. For this reason, it is recommended that you look for criticism early in the writing process to mold and shape your topic. Make sure you attach a works cited list to your final paper. It does not, however, count as a page for length.
The minimum length for this assignment is five full pages. It is recommended that the length not exceed eight pages. Attach the Works Cited page and remember that it will have at least five sources: the 3 critical sources you found and the two readings (poems, stories, or plays) that you have selected. -

“Exploring Text Analysis Techniques and Proposing a Compelling Research Question Using Python”
It needs to be completed using python. The scoring rules have been given. Please follow the scoring rules to complete. Please do not use ChatGPT and any Ai tools.
This section comprises two components: Q1 (90 points) and Q2 (110 points). Q1 builds upon the text analysis technique requiring the Python codes (which I uploaded). For Q2, you’re tasked with proposing a compelling research question related to our class topics. Your choice of question is open within the scope of our coursework. Ensure you substantiate your claims/findings with relevant data work. Grades will be allocated as follows: 110 (excellent), 80 (good), 50 (okay), 20 (poor). Exceptional and poor grades will be rare, with only ten percent of students in each group receiving them. The majority, eighty percent, will receive okay or poor grades. Therefore, you can opt to invest substantial effort to aim for excellence or allocate reasonable time to achieve a good (80) grade. The decision is yours.
