“The PowerPuff Girls: Debunking the Notion of Climate Change as the Greatest Threat to Humanity”
Ladies and gentlemen, esteem judges and fellow debators. We are the opposition house and our house’s name is PowerPuff Girls. Today’s motion is why this house doesn’t believe that climate change is the greatest threat to humanity. When referring to a “threat” to humanity, it implies a condition, event or a phenomenon that has the potential to cause harm, damage or significant negative impacts to human societies, economies or the environment. Threats can vary in nature and severity, ranging from immediate risks to long-term and chronic challenges. They may arise from natural phenomena, such as earthquakes or volcanic eruptions or from human activities, such as warfare or environmental degradation.
In the context of climate change, the term “threat” encompasses the various adverse consequences associated with rising global temperatures and the changes in weather patterns, including extreme weather events, sea-level rise disruptions in agriculture and food security and impact on human health and well-being.
I, the first speaker will be dealing with the following arguments pertaining:
Existing threats to humanity.
Uncertainties regarding the exact extent and timing of climate change.
Opportunity costs of addressing climate change.
Firstly climate change is undeniably a significant threat it’s not necessarily considered the greatest for several reasons. The are other existing threats to humanity such as nuclear war or pandemics. They could have more immediate and catastrophic consequences even though they helped us as humans realise many things and brought up many debates. They impacted our lives in various aspects for example the pandemic, it caused illness death and disruption in economies and societies.

“Character Analysis Assessment” Student Work Samples: Student 1: Student 2: Student 3: Evaluation Criteria: Title: Character Analysis Assessment Standards Assessed: AKS 3, AKS 6 Evaluation Criteria
Include the actual assignment/assessment. This could be a quiz, test, performance task, choice board, etc. It
should be designed for a standard and learning targets you will teach during the field experience.
AS A SINGLE DOCUMENT the following items:
– Three (3) Student Work Samples of your assessment: Remove/whiteout actual student names; label
documents (Student 1, Student 2, and Student 3).
In selecting work samples, choose one student who did well in understanding the concept, one student
who struggled to understand the concept, and one student with specific learning needs, such as an
English Language Learner, an EIP student, a student with an IEP, a gifted student, etc.
– Evaluation Criteria: This is how you evaluated it. This could be a quiz, test, performance task, choice
board, etc. with clearly written scoring criteria. You may include a rubric if that is how this is scored.
Label the document Evaluation Criteria and include which standards are assessed.
– A table/chart: This is used to record student performance in a way that is easy to analyze. Note that pie
charts bar graphs, etc. charting class averages are not helpful. You need to chart how EACH student
performed on EACH skill or concept assessed.
– A narrative where paragraphs explain:
a. Patterns in success for the class and your 3 selected students
b. Patterns in errors for the class and your 3 selected students
c. Hypotheses about the errors, student misconceptions, etc.
Standards:
1) AKS 3:Describe characters in a story (e.g., their traits, motivations, or feelings) and explain how their actions contribute to the sequence of events.
2)AKS 6: Distinguish their own point of view from that of the narrator or those of the characters. -
Title: Examining Integrated Marketing Communications: A Case Study of a Fashion Brand’s Promotional Campaign
1. PPT
1) Integrated Marketing Communications
Instructions
In the previous assignment, you identified the tools that your brand uses to create their promotion mix. In this assignment, you will examine the brand’s current marketing campaign and evaluate how each promotion element is used for your brand and for the campaign.
Step 1: Identify your brand’s current campaign.
Note
You need to find a single themed campaign (for example, a Valentine’s day campaign, Spring New Collection campaign, Holiday campaign, Black Friday promotions, and so on).
Step 2: What channels and tools did the brand use in the current campaign? Conduct research to find visual examples of the campaign in all promotional channels.
Create a visual presentation, using a visual presentation software, including the following information:
advertising examples: images from various media
public relations examples: events, product placement, sponsorships, press releases, and press conferences
direct marketing examples: images of various methods
personal selling examples in store
sales promotion examples: images of various methods
content marketing examples: social media posts
IMC evaluation: Was the integrated campaign successful, in your opinion? Did the brand use activities and channels that attract their target customers? Explain why. Remember to use terminology from the module, and add relevant imagery to demonstrate your opinion.
Purpose
To examine a brand’s promotional elements and channels to identify an effectiveness of their promotion mix to reach their target customers.
2) Evaluation and Recommendation & Works Cited
1. Evaluation and Recommendation: This page is new information, although you have included evaluations in previous assignments.
evaluation: Write two to three points about your opinion of this brand. Add images that communicate what you wrote.
recommendations: Write three to four points about what this brand can do better. Be specific! Relate your comments to the marketing mix. For example, how can the product improve? Should the pricing be changed? Should the brand add or remove distribution channels? How can the promotion mix and strategy be improved?
2. Works Cited: Include a list of all sources used in a report, formatted using MLA citations. For more about using the MLA format, please review the following resource: http://elmo.academyart.edu/reference-help/mla_citation_guide.html
2. Discussion Is All Publicity Good?
What’s your recent experience to get to know a fashion company or a retailer’s publicity efforts? Was this good or bad publicity? Was the rebranding strategy and the subsequent media attention effective in raising awareness of the brand? Or was it about a new product or a new store opening? Did heightened awareness of the brand have an impact on sales of the products?
Where did you hear about this news? Did you find similar stories in multiple channels?
Share the story you recently faced.
Did it make you form an opinion about the brand or retailer?
Which channels did you hear about this story? -
