Imagine that Beowulf, the Miller from The Canterbury Tales, and Othello team up to fight Grendel and Grendel’s mother. What strengths and/or weaknesses would each character bring to the fight? What ideas about heroism and war would each character bring? What changes would in ideas about heroism would we see across the times in which the men live?
