professional colleagues. Choose an issue, review peer-reviewed research studies (qualitative, quantitative,
and/or mixed methods design), objectively analyze the debate, and express an informed opinion in a
research paper (3-4 pages, page count does not include title or reference pages). You may choose one of
the topics below or you may investigate a different instructor-approved debatable or controversial
educational assessment topic of your choice. A submission containing any level of plagiarism will receive
