Mentorship Paper-Advancing the Profession
Purpose/Overview
Mentorship is an essential skill to help
advance the nursing profession one nurse at a time. There are different types
of mentoring based on the mentee’s goals, but the overall outcome is to help
another develop professionally through feedback, motivation, coaching, and
accountability. This paper helps the student reflect on the role they play in
mentoring and evaluating others.

and explain the importance of mentoring of others to advance the profession.

4.  Create a peer review tool, incorporating
information technology, to be used in the student’s practice specialty and
discuss why the specific aspects of the peer review tool were chosen.
