Develop a personalized learning plan as a self planned learning activity to address a question, issue, or
need you have identified from your professional
practice. You may choose your own topic based on your
practice specialty. This plan will support your learning
and development towards the completion of your
practice demonstration proposal and the enactment of
your proposal in NURS 618.
Use the PLP template in D2L for submission and submit
the document in Microsoft Word format only. The PLP
should be a maximum of 6 pages in length. In
developing the PLP address the following:
a) Clearly state the question, issue, or need (topic)
you want to address in relation to practice.
b) Identify and define key terms.
c) Include an assessment of your current
knowledge and practice in relation to the
question.
d) Identify any assumptions you have or will make
about the intended audience you will engage
around your topic.
e) Describe a plan for your learning activities that
will address your topic.
f) Identify relevant resources you will need to
facilitate your learning plan.
g) Identify any anticipated or potential problems
you might encounter addressing your topic and
your preliminary ideas to address them.
h) Create learning outcomes that align with the
course outcomes and your own
personal/professional goals.
i) Explain how you will determine whether you
have learned enough to answer the question or
address the issue or need you have identified
