“Embracing Diversity: Overcoming Conflict in the Workplace”

I would like this essay to go along the lines of how conflict is unavoidable in any workplace, and how I’ve had a professional career for the past 2 years and I’ve dedicated myself in making sure that me and my coworkers feel included and everyone feels comfortable and excited to come to work everyday. One conflict I face while working overseas was not only the language barrier and culture shock from moving from New York City to west Africa but while working on a new construction project for the company I work for(Sankaran Group) one of my coworkers has a habit of wanting to always work alone and never wanting to interact with anyone while we are all working on the same project. I had the idea to go to lunch all together so we can get to know each other better and so that ill work will improve all together as a team she didn’t want to but after more persuading she finally came along and after we were all able to work and excel in every assignment that was given to us.
