The Jaffe reading this week discussed one type of special occasion speech, the Speech to Inspire. We could all genuinely have opportunities to share a speech to inspire, in a variety of contexts. 
Using the exemplum pattern of speaking (described on p. 259 of the Jaffe reading) develop a speech to inspire others.  Choose a quotation or proverb, and tell a story or stories that illustrate this proverb.
