The goal of this assignment is for you to explore a social policy related to child welfare. You will be required to select a social policy from the readings in your textbook. Once you have selected the policy, you will develop a PowerPoint presentation of at least 15 slides.

In this section of your presentation, you should explore why there was a need for the policy and what events set the context for your policy being drafted and implemented. You should explore critical questions such as:

Were there any key research studies or world events that led to drafting this policy? 
What need did this policy address (as a way of understanding why it was drafted)? 
Detailed Overview of Your Policy(minimum of 4 slides)
In this section of the presentation, you are expected to discuss the key parameters of your policy explicitly. Include information such as key dates author of the policy, and seek to answer the question: What does your policy “do”? 
Impact (minimum of 3 slides)
This section of the paper should explore your policy’s impact on child welfare. Has this policy been implemented correctly? Do you think that this policy has had a positive impact on the child welfare system? Why or why not?
Conclusion (minimum of 2 slides)
This section of the paper should wrap up the primary points presented in the presentation. According to Purdue Owl (2012), the conclusion of your presentation should accomplish three major goals:
