Questions
1. How are the changes in nursing
leadership styles, i.e., autocratic, democratic, transformational,
transactional, seen in the nurse’s job satisfaction levels?
2. Which leadership behaviors are
most important for the nurses to be happy with their jobs?
3. To what extent does the
similarity between support nursing leadership styles and the different
functional departmental values impact the nurse practitioners’ job satisfaction
levels and retention rates?
Data Collection
For this study,
the programs with quantitative data will be tested using structured
questionnaires in validated instruments, such as the Multifactor Leadership
Questionnaire (MLQ) and the Job Satisfaction Survey (JSS). All these tools are
well-established and frequently employed in leadership and job satisfaction
studies (Ali et al., 2020).
The questionnaires will be administered through emails, but some will be hard
copies for physical administration. Since the response rate is a crucial factor
affecting a study’s results, data collection will be conducted for two months
to achieve adequate response. All the collected data will be kept confidential
by eliminating the respondents’ personal information from the survey results
and storing the data safely (Hensen
et al., 2021). This implementation plan entails that the research process will
be ethical in terms of participant selection and data collection mode.
