I would like you (as in require you) to read a monograph that was authored by my Graduate School Supervisor Turing award winner Professor Sir C.A.R. Hoare FRS, “Programming is an Engineering Profession” and one by Professor Joe Goguen’s “The Wet and the Dry”
Write a one page paper that provides the strengths and weaknesses of the “Dry” and “Wet” philosophies. A detailed analysis is encouraged. EVERYONE WILL BE ASKED TO DISCUSS AND PRESENT IN CLASS. Place in drop box prior to class.
