My Research topic: mediated intimacy in K-pop online fansign
The purpose of my research: explore how online fan sign events of K-pop artists function as mediator spaces that facilitate intimate interactions between idols and fans
And I will examine the rise of digital technology in shaping identities, globalization, and fan consumption Introduction of online fan sign events with k-pop idols: buy albums to win a chance to have a video call with your idol
1. The event will be conducted with the video call channel ID in the information provided.
2. Members and winners will have a video call event.
History of fansign event: Before 2020, Fan signs were held in person.
With the rise of digital technology and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, these events have transitioned online.
