The purpose of this paper is to explore and reflect (Cognitive and Affective Processes) your personal value system and how it can be integrated into what you have learned in class (NASW Code of Ethics, CSWE Core Competencies, Social Work Values and Unique Perspectives (Strengths, PIE, Ecosystems), ETC), in readings, through course discussions, and personal and professional situations and brought and what you think will be strengths and challenges along with current self-care/regulation practices and how these can be relied upon and broadened for your future as a social worker.
Going further, you will also need to integrate your current, challenged, and future cognitive and affective processes regarding diversity, oppression, and privilege at the personal level (Micro), within your communities and connecting with larger groups (Mezzo), and at the larger context of policy and larger systems (Macro). Critical thinking skills, depth in reflection, self-awareness, and thoughtful writing needs to be utilized.
Social Work Values and Ethics Paper (50 points) Paper is required to be 3-5 pages, 12 point font, with double-spacing and APA Formatting. Please follow APA format for formatted title page, page numbers, internal citations and a reference page with 3 references as a minimum (textbooks can be included as citations). Title page and reference page are not included in page limits.
