“Building a Career in Child Therapy: My Journey to Overcome Challenges and Achieve Goals”

For this assignment I should write about a career I chose which is child therapist . 
My academic pursuits include planning to pursue a master’s degree in psychology and eventually a PhD with the goal of establishing my own clinic specializing in child therapy. I aim to establish my own clinic specializing in child therapy. I believe child therapists are crucial because they understand and deal with complex family dynamics, helping children manage their emotions and behaviors. Child therapists build trust with children and provide a safe space for them to express themselves. One of my weaknesses is procrastination. Despite my efforts to overcome it, I struggle with persistent feelings of laziness that hinder my productivity. One of my strengths is my determination to never give up on my goals, which I truly admire about myself. I am drawn to the idea of working in California due to its resemblance to New York and in Texas, where I can indulge in my love for BBQ.
