“Breaking Barriers: The Contributions of a Minority, Female, or LGBTQ+ Figure in Psychology”

One of the many ways that we can learn about the history of science is through the biographical approach, which describes a notable figure and their role during the time period when they lived.  For this discussion, chose a person from the field of psychology who is a minority, female, and/or part of the LGBTQ+ community.  Write about their contribution to the field and be sure to include their background, education, and other personal details, as well as their specific work in psychology.
