Title: “The Power of Dialogue: A Lesson in Conflict, Tension, and Character Development”

Rubric
• A minimum 1 page of dialogue, with at least 2 characters speaking, double spaced,
12 point font.
• Character dialogue is separated into individual stanzas.
You can insert direction between dialogue if it helps explain the dialogue.
Dialogue Rules:
1. Dialogue allows us to show conflict.
2. Dialogue creates tension.
3. Dialogue advances the story.
4. Dialogue reveals character. (indirect characterisation)
