Title: Exploring Poetic Techniques and Meaning in Egyptian Lyrics

Instructions
Part 1) Lyric is still poetry but it’s also quite a bit more condensed than epic in terms of telling a story and presenting characters, etc.
Choose 2 poems from any lyric poet we’ve looked at so far (you can mix and match), and
identify some of the poetic techniques (2+) and literal summary (character and scenario), and
) fill in some of the character or story that is not fully and directly covered by the poem.
Length: at least 3 sentences per each section (a and b).
Part 2) THEN, based on the above, add at least 1 paragraph (1 paragraph = 4+ sentences) addressing how content and technique help (or not) express the meaning, lesson, or point of the poem; be sure you cover what the point is and how you know. Don’t forget to use supporting details and cite them, and refer to them in the explaining.
