Based on what you’ve just learnt about the discipline of Religious Studies, are the following statements a good/ useful/ academically correct way of engaging our subject matter as we undertake the academic study of religion over the next few months? Why or why not?
a – Islam is a peaceful religion.
b – Muslims should pray five times a day. (Roughly comparable to: Christians should go to church every Sunday).
c – Some Hindus are atheists.

2 – As stated in the syllabus description of the reading responses, make sure that you’ve: a) met the word count; b) listed the word count for the response; c) included the 4 terms/concepts; d) provided page numbers for all the information mentioned in your response, including the terms/concepts.
